Aviva Premiership - Round 15

Newcastle doing a great job of keeping the ball. Our best hope is a penalty scrum

Hope Wasps don't get anything here, think a draw is a fair result.

Edit: A draw it is!

Couple of thoughts...

1) From a Newcastle point of view, can you imgine a more pefect development opportunity than this season? No chance of relegation, just try some new players, develop your combinations, who cares if you win...

2) Goode can still fire a pass, but withou that he'd be f'ing useless.

3) Masi is one hell of an injury prone player!

Good result for both and from what I have read it sounded like a quality game, need BT Sport for next season :)

It is good to see Newcastle doing well this season after struggling in past seasons in top flight.

You can watch all of the Aviva games live on Bet365's website, just need an active acount (i.e. either money in the account or to have placed a bet in the previous 24hrs).
You can fullscreen the video on your phone/laptop, but on the laptop it's just in a box on the site - better than nothing though!
Means I can watch all of Sale's games live :D

Nice one, will have a look into that I do watch full game when Premiership Rugby site puts it on website but it's never the same as watching it live.

At work tomorrow so will miss Sale game but hopefully can beat Saracens.

Josh Beaumont having an absolute stormer in this first half.
Completely steam rollered Itoje a minute ago, made him look more like O'Gara than Maro Itoje!

Saints getting mullered in the scrum. Bath have such a big squad, we are lacking a line breaker.

Can't agree with that TMO decision. I thought try yes or no was suppose to give benefit of the doubt to the defending team?

Sale 14 - 10 Sarries, full time.

I'll take that :D Almost held them out at the end but they crossed for a try to get the LBP.

I thought the opposite. It was a 50/50 decision in my opinion.

Looked a try to me, thought the grounding came a split second before the foot being out.

That ones deffo a try though

I think the wording for benefit to the attacker 'any reason I can't award the try'

If it's benefit to the attacker fair enough clearly 50/50 don't think anyone can definitively say if he was in touch or not.

Second try I've got qualms about good match so far.

This is the best attacking display I've seen from us in a while. Looking fluid!

I feel the scrum is keeping bath in the game.

Dunno Bath could have a second as well they were pretty close. We're loosing the breakdown battle though so I'd say the game is pretty even. Scoreline probably about right with Myers botched chance.

That was a great try sure enough.......!

That is three botched chances from Myler, is it not................ @ncurd?!!

I lost track I was giving him the benefit of the doubt on two. Only one was an absolute howler.

Also while it great Homer has that kind of range can we leave those kicks when we absolutely need him to try as he clearly doesn't have a huge success rate with them. Similar problem @ Sarries last week although he didn't get as many.
