Aviva Premiership Round 11

Don't watch much premiership... but do sky always have breaks in the middle of each half?!?

Soccer halves are 45 mins... yet sky don't feel the need to stick ad breaks in there.

Do they?
I've never noticed it before
Though to be fair most games i've watched fully are on ESPN, and because I'm normally watching on my laptop I often go to different tabs during the game so maybe I've just missed them?
Or maybe it's an Irish thing?

Are you watching the replay of Saints v Quins? The replays have breaks. Live matches don't.

ESPN have the live game today

Seeing buckley bundled into touch by wade is one of he best moments of this season so far!

Another easy win for the warriors, all blacks got nothing on us !!

Nope.
This whole thing is just a farce. No ones going to want to come to us knowing that you put in a poor performance (no poorer than any number of players throughout the season) and the DoR and owner run off to the press about how you're not fit for pro-rugby.

Agree!

Its as though Steve Diamond isn't well known for a carcinogenic presence at whatever club he joins.

In other news, more heads are likely to be rolling in Northampton before the season is up (assuming the terrace whispers are correct). Allegedly, the Ravenhill game had more to do with Hartley calling a team meeting at his own house after the home defeat then Mallender or West kicking up.

It's a sad state of affairs if this is true, especially given Hartley's subsequent ban. Saints missed him yesterday.

Roughly an hour and ten minutes in on the replay on the Premiership website - I daresay it will make its way onto youtube sooner or later.

What's worse, Buckley getting shunted into touch by Wade, or Banahan failing to steamroll Williams?

haha oh man... Banahan(gate?) was a dark dark day, when we realised that our 18 stone centre couldn't finish a 1 on 1 with one of the smallest guys in rugby. And even though I think Buckley could have done better yesterday, I'm willing to stick by the traditional wisdom- Don't blame props when it comes to the scoring(or not) of tries; they're not used to it!

Buckley always runs in to contact too high - it's all right when he's going for an offload or something but when he's trying to barge over the line.... hrmmm

To be fair, 95% (okay, made up figure, but a high percentage anyway) of preparation is done on the training field/in the gym. They can't have won that Ulster game without this kind of preparation. Hartley is a good motivator, I would have him as England captain even. So it wouldn't surprise me if the coaching staff just left that to him anyway. But as long as the coaches are working hard to sort out the set moves and make sure everyone knows what they're doing, then I'm not sure what the problem is tbh.

Let me rephrase that... If I were to repeat in written words what I believe to be true on here, lawyers would likely come knocking on my door for defamitory. The ulster game was not training ground stuff, that was bloody mindedness alone.

Do you remember the England players telling Rob Andrew to f-off during the 07 world cup?
