I mean I can't understand her rationale for that.

I somewhat hoped that all the stuff she said in the leadership campaign would be rode back on considering that she had to get the support of the right on the Conservative party, however this is her first interview after the voting has closed....

She's a puppet.
An empty suit.
She says what she's told to say.

If she's put on the spot, with no-one in her ear, she'll say what her handlers say - which isn't necessarily what they want her to admit.

Lycett not quite my cup of tea stand up wise but deploying sarcasm brilliantly here to show how ******* stupid Tories look defending thos drivel. Also great for showing Kunnesberg can't deal with it as it requires admitting how much she doesn't challenge actual politicians.

The number of people there blaming remainers is staggering, they made this stupid decision and now blame those who said all along it would be bad. Deluded, irresponsible fuckwits. If you voted for Brexit, it's on you, not those of us who opposed it. As you love to say "You won, deal with it."

In reality she said fair because the more taxes you pay the more you save with a tax cut, which is technically right. What should be highlighted is are tax cuts a fair way to deal with the cost of living crisis and the answer is no because higher earners save more a d if it actually led to growth then this would also benefit the higher earners more. Meanwhile it just leaves those at the bottom screwed.

BBC News - Barristers start indefinite strike action over pay in England and Wales

So we now have no functioning criminal courts in this country any more. Another fantastic Tory achievement. They have destroyed everything.

We barely had one before which is why they are striking, genuinely surprisingly they usually speak very highly of Gove for the short time when he was in charge. Less so civil servants who worked for him

So Truss is considering an energy cap freeze, but quite possibly the one from the energy companies which instead the freeze being funded by say a windfall tax, the freeze is paid for in future bills. Talk about kicking the can down the road.
