In terms of right wing voters there is a pretty obvious reason why Sunak is far from the norm…
This is true, but I think more true of the membership (which is probably why he won't win) and less so of normal Tory voters. In terms of right wing voters there is a pretty obvious reason why Sunak is far from the norm…
Also promising slashing things like Corp Tax which he's not.I'm sure the reason why Truss got through and is supported by so many on the right of the Tory party is that they think they can control her more than Sunak
Indeed. In terms of right wing voters there is a pretty obvious reason why Sunak is far from the norm…
Not sure if my favourite is Irish Tea Sock or her glee at the prospect of opening pork markets.
That's American Tea you're thinking of.You mean the Irish don't brew their tea by putting loose leaves into a sock and sticking it in the nearest puddle on a moderately warm day?
Huh?moderately warm day?
only if you charge $10 a cup for it, unless this is a two americas thingThat's American Tea you're thinking of.
I thought they brewed theirs by throwing it in the nearest harbour? Absolute savages. That's American Tea you're thinking of.
it's weird. growing up you think history is made by people who work hard and have plans. Now you realize institutions change by either those people or those that just do what the hell they want and hope not to get called out on it. High school never ends does it.They're all Trump babies. Or is it Fararge babies as I think Trump took a lot from Fararge and Brexit. Either way, what a time to be alive.

I've just looked up several, all I can say is the first part she's fine with (although pronouncing both syllables as words is pretty bad) the second part I've seen a couple of suggestions. None sounded anything like sock though.lol I had to google what she was referring to.
Irish posters - how do you pronounce Taoiseach?
Thee-Shock would be the closest phonetics I'd think. Often, non-Irish news go with Tee-Shock. But never heard Tee-Sock before.lol I had to google what she was referring to.

Bit of a slow video, but he gets there in the end. Literally first hit on youtube so Professor Truss wouldn't have had to go far.
