A Political Thread pt. 2

What amazes me is that so many conservative supporters can still believe that everything is someone else's fault and not the conservatives. Do they honestly imagine the world is against and that, especially with domestic issues, it's the fault of those not in power and those in power are actually powerless?

I know as the above article says, they live in a fantasy world, but how deluded do you have to be to think that none of this is the Conservatives fault?
Yep.

Brexit - EUs fault
N.Ireland protocol problems? - EU
Dover? - EU
Strikes? - Labour, unions
Cost of living crisis? - Labour, EU, Russia
NHS problems? - Labour
Lack of integrity in No10? - Media

Genuinely think anyone who still believes that somehow the Tories bear no blame for anything that's going wrong now is just straight up thick. How little mental capacity do you need to continue swallowing their lies? The Tories are the one common denominator in all of this.

You missed not being able to send asylum seekers to Rwanda - EU / ECHR

I am now adamant that not everyone should be allowed to vote.

The amount of people on the radio and social media claiming that the issues in Dover are because of the French and the European Union is incredible.

On LBC, just after 4PM, they had the head of UKIP who claimed that the issues at the border was because the French hate the English because they English have beaten them consistently over the past few centuries, notably at the Battle of Agincourt.

They also dismissed the concerns raised by Michael O'Leary, from Ryanair, because he's Irish not British.

Incredible

Hours after signing the grain transit deal and agreeing not to target ports, the Russian launch a couple of missiles at one of the ports used in the grain exports...

They really do not give a ****. Their word counts for nothing. It's not even subtle, they literally do not care at all that they are bare faced liars and everyone knows it. Honestly everyone should just do away with even attempting to negotiate with the Russians until they are beaten, their word means nothing.

Wonder would the turks be so offended they decide to let the NATO navies in to play in the Black Sea.

Just another reason why representative democracy is a load of bullshit.

People too stupid to interpret manifestos and their effects voting for people ill qualified to deliver said manifestos.

It's stuff like this that infuriates me. Here is clear evidence that the UK government is in some way responsible, even if you ignore Brexit itself and yet still their supporters will just blindly accept that this is all the fault of the French.

The English speaking part of the continent of Europe's attitude towards the French is hilarious. Under Macron they've been the best governed state in Europe and their non-contentious foreign policy has been flawless.

Our policy has been aligned fortunately but the general attitude is worrying.

They are a pariah state and have been for a while now. Sadly Putin's deny, deflect, discredit tactics have been used as a template for populist "Democratic" Governments including our own.

As shown by this:

80 year old with heart problems? And more left than Biden - totally rejected by evangelicals and centrist swing state voters. Doubtful.

Also One main objection of both Biden and Trump is they are too old to be be POTUS. Biden would be 82 and Trump 78 by 2024.

Bet the mail isn't reporting this. Johnson has surely led the most corrupt government in history since rotton boroughs were abolished, probably even more corrupt than some of those.

I had a bet with myself before I checked that the mail would have a royal story. Sure enough, Diana...

Josh Hawley, goes form being mr "tough guy" with the fist raised in support of the insurrectionists to running through Congress to escape. Usual hypocritical cowards.

Lol - don't you actually have to have fought in a war to be awarded one? Or does getting excused for bone spurs not count?🤔
