I guess a plus point is that for the first time in a while a Labour leader is ahead of the Tories in approval ratings (Granted doesn't mean too much).

I've also easily verified, didn't even need to manipulate the pic, just zoom in.
My first thought was "meh, some random underling screwed up", but with a little thought, I'm more annoyed by the incompetence. For the last 6 months, we've know that he's going to have send one of 2 tweets, 1 to a personal friend, another to someone he knows personally hates him. But we couldn't even authorise 2 tweets to be written up and ready to fire... With 6 months notice...

How does this even happen? This is a whole new level of unfathomable incompetence...

I'm not even sure like I understand JPEG artefacts and a whole bunch of technical stuff but that all based on image replication. The only thing I can think is they had a text box or an image with Trump's congratulations and literally put a new text box over that, the transparency/fill when saved from the original jpeg didn't erase those are completely due to quick image saving so it didn't take longer to process.

I'm honestly still a little bit baffled as noted the person who knocked up the image should of given two sets of text, done the layout with most text first (as it looks like what happened), saved that image then just gone into the that text box and done the next, saved the new image. Its just straight up confusing to how they managed to do it this badly.
