Well them stealing the Vunipola's off us I guess it's about time they moved onto Welsh scrum half's.

Are you talking about Harry Randall?

"Randall was born in Slough to two English parents, has played for England at Under-20 level, but is also understood to be eligible for Wales despite not being born in the country or having Welsh parents or grandparents."

A quote from Wales Online

But to most on here that stuff seems to be less important than "rugby education" whatever that generic term really means.

I personally have no problem with it. He considers himself English so he's English. Simple as that really.

But he actually is English by birth and both parents, its a more a case he doesnt consider himself Welsh after growing up there.

I dont actually know what academy he went through if im honest.

according to wiki he spent age 4-17 in Wales; so it makes perfect sense that he'd be eligible for both countries. It seems that he made the decision to play his professional rugby in England.

That's Dombrandt playing for Wales u20s. Although he isn't qualified for actual Wales.

Yeah but his "rugby education" was pretty much solely in Wales but funnily enough you don't have England fans saying he shouldn't play for England.

Ill be honest id say he has more of a claim to play for Wales than a south africa with a Welsh granny who has never been there. (not a shot a anyone just a general statement)

Parent I can understand but I agree, grandparent is too tenuous and I wish WR got rid of that criteria.
