[2016 RBS Six Nations] Round 4: England vs. Wales (12/03/2016)

Who's sexier?

Dan Cole or Samson Lee?

Discuss.

(I'm really enjoying this thread)

To be fair if England hadn't capitulated and almost bottled to Wales (again), no one would care about this thread either :)

Really that needs a vid not an image that doesn't show if his knee hit the deck before hand. Can u share another image of Williams forward pass that resulted in a try.

Because England have never ever in the history of rugby thrown a slightly forward pass that resulted in a try have they?

Sure. But I think the point that was trying to be made is that sometimes players also sometimes get wrongly judged to be in touch. North did get rid of the ball in time, but we can't blame the touch judge/ref for thinking he was there was literally inches in it. Would have been more sensible for Wales to have stayed well away from the touch-line given the time remaining.

Spot on. The likihood is that there were other deacons during the game where the linesman flagged when a player was still infield.
Those calls are so marginal. Stay away from tuilagi on the touch line when the clock is red.

So England have won the last 3 six nations matches against Wales. What needs to change for the men in red next year?

Fair play to Wales for making a game of it, however they were gifted the last 10 or 15 minutes as we'd already won by then.
However 3 tries to one tells a story, that story being that Wales had their backs to the wall and Englands game forced their hand. Had England been on fire from the off it would have been a markedly different result, we would of been 20 up by HT. As for Wales, Howley must go and Wales need to bring in an attack coach who understands how to attack from the off. But, I'm sure England would've played differently too if that was the case. Itojo deservedly motm, congratulations England, because Wales, despite any complex ValleyComando has, aren't as good as he thinks they are... Then again, nor are England. But the best team won. Thats all. Mis quote that *****es!

I love the fact that you can be gifted 55/60/70 minutes... I just wish that my team didn't gift the opposition 79 mins every week. Cause that first minute of every game I play we are the better team... :D

Agree with some but as well as England played that first 40 Wales just were not at the races so it was a combination of both that resulted in the England league at the half , Wales came out more fired up the second half and gave England more problems and won the second half convincingly however it was too little too late .
England for the grand slam now then CHAPS?
Awfully good display old chum
How about some tea and crumpets.?

New attack coach new direction fresh players kill cuthbert
On a lighter note I've been really impressed with priestland these last couple of games off the bench so much so that we look a far better attacking unit with him as the 10 than with biggar

Seems like heading to England out of the constant scrutiny of the Welsh media has done him a lot of good. I've always been a fan and thought the way he was booed at the millennium stadium and completed destroyed in the Welsh media was a disgrace.
Let's hope he can continue. Certainly when he's on form he's a better attacking option that Biggar.

Ooo, people like you make victory ever so sweeter.

LOL - you know guys, if England had won that match yesterday more convincingly and without falling apart and losing their bottle (again) we wouldn't be getting any of this now. I suspect England players, fans, management, uncles auties, step dads and all, are deeply disapointed right now. Yes they hung on and won. Well done guys lol!

He did take a lot of flak but his performances back then weren't up to scratch and everyone just thought he was gatlands puppy dog..Yup it seems the move to the premiership hasn't done him any harm

On a serious note if Scotland crumble to the French, realistically how much would France have to beat you by if they were to win it?
All depend how much they beat the Scottish by they are currently 58 points behind. A win by 1 point would mean they have to beat us by 28 points. Every two points they beat Scotland by reduces that by 1.

It's unlikely but then I said the same in 2013

So basically France have to crush the scots then crush the English! That's impossible we all know France are only capable of ONE overwhelming performance ;)

Still didn't deserve to be booed by 70000+ home supporters.
