My views on him have changed a lot. I used to think he was a petulant toerag who was ok but not great. Since he cost us that win in SA he's changed his attitude entirely and thats helped his game. He doesnt get involved as much as he used to anymore and he's exactly what you need from a modern full back. Fearless and talented ander the high ball, can add in attack and has a decent boot on him. More than decent on the wing too.

Biggar has done the same. I think thats an aspect of the coaching team that doesn't get the credit, they've instilled a very professional mentality in the squad that gives players focus and rewards people for doing things the right way.

This is disgraceful and Marler should have a life ban at least.

1) gypsy is a race - I.e. Romani, Irish Traveller.
2) singling a player out by his race on the pitch is wrong. If a Welsh player had singled Itoje out by his race, there'd be hell to play, and rightly so. Don't see this as different myself.

To steal an example. If thats the case how would people react if someone said to Itoje *"black boy/man". The s**t would hit the fan despite that being a factual statement. During a moment of heightened emotions saying something like that is not said as a declaration of a fact, its meant with some malice. Fair play he's (been told to) apologise but he should get some punishment for saying what he did.

The brown incident was unfortunate, however in fairness brown started trying to kick the ball after Murray placed it on the floor, he then picked it back up and moved it towards his face, so not completely Brown's fault, one also has to ask what the hell Murray is doing handling the ball on the floor anyway.

Seriously?! Yawn. Give up on the brown boot incident, at least his foot made contact with the ball. Francis is just a fake who knew exactly what he was doing. You couldn't even see the ball.

Couldn't agree more it shouldn't be allowed to go on however what difference did it make in the context of the game, was it a factor in Wales defeat?

I didn't know that Roma and Travellers where protected Races (Or whatever it is called).

Surprised about travellers being covered by it, Esp after the run in i have had with them not to stereotype but a lot of it was about tarmacking the drive and selling Chainsaw's from the back of their 4X4's which looked very suspect for the price they were wanting.

But guess it is class as a race. Depends on Lee I guess.

Why are people comparing the Brown incident to the Francis incident? Brown was kicking a ball out of a ruck, Francis curled his fingers towards a players face. The only thing they have in common was that they ended up hurting a player, one did so legally and the other very illegally. I don't feel any useful comparison can be made.

England were brilliant and then momentum swung the other way after a poor pass from Youngs and a terrible decision from Ford. Then they bottled it and made the Welsh first-half performance look adequate. Once again we left points out there and Jones should be fuming. Wales scored 14 points in 4 minutes, we had 40 minutes of absolute dominance and should have scored more. Yes, you could say the ref asked the wrong question, but poor refereeing decisions are just part and parcel, we still need to be more clinical in the future and not even give the ref the opportunity to go upstairs, make your chances count.

Language deliberately trying to provoke based on someone race is racist language. Sorry lads it's a pretty open and shut case. Is it mild language sure but any authority makes a big deal over anything.

Hence why Jones reminded him of responsibilities and he was probably told to apologise at half time.
