This is a disgrace. It is the referee at this point who is costing Scotland the game. It is absolutely disgusting.

Disgusting. Absolutely disgusting.

It really is something when Jiffy is saying Wales should've been carded 3 times.

That was genuinely the worst refereeing I've seen in an international fixture. Cotter should definitely be filing a complaint about that.

Regardless of the ref, Scotland wasted that last half a minute in that fight and could've put the conversion over.

Aye, why they didn't run it back for the dropgoal conversion I do not know. Probably because Hamilton hadn't shoved anyone in a few minutes.

Still, the kickoff should have been taken, the kick went over before the clock went red.

I cannot express how angry I am right now. Yes Scotland were far too wasteful but that referee has cost Scotland the win today.

Wales got away with foul after foul there, many of which were 'professional' fouls, & yet no yellow card given by the ref.

Bennett scores a perfectly good try & it's brought back for a high tackle on the Scotland player & again no yellow card.

Also, there were a good few seconds on the clock there to allow the re-start and the officials decide to end the game.

I can accept Scotland loosing, hell I've gotten fairly used to it over the years, but for the actions of (or lack thereof) by the referee being possibly THE major factor in the game...

I'm bloody furious.

As an Englishman I really am upset about that game. A horrible refereeing performance, yellow cards not given for multiple offences, last man high tackle or for kicking the ball away, not checking the try at the end of the first half. I'm so disappointed. Lack of composure from the Scots though, but they were robbed

Scotland, my god how stupid do you want to be? Many idiotic decisions by them that threw away their chances.

Secondly, wtf ref? Hoiw many times did Wales infringe and not get a second yellow? Unacceptable.

I think that the ref was reluctant to use his cards again after the two in the first half. Scotland could have had a card for repeated infringement around 60, but then Wales repeat offended near the try line and you have to ask why a card wasn't given at some point.

Despite that, I think Scotland made some silly decisions when in the red zone, and should have been looking at using the set piece or going for three at times. They have improved a lot, particularly in their back play. I just feel their speed at the breakdown is still an area of concern for them and their own penalty count.

All the best to them for the future, because they are due a win now.

Ref has been pretty poor, but Scotland only have themselves to blame.

The line-fever that descended on the forwards probably cost Scotland a fair few point. Fin Russell also has to hold his hands up to a poor performance.

I'm sorry but Scotland got away with a hell of a lot too.
Refereeing wasnt the deciding factor overall, as he was awful for both sides.

A win we needed badly. Set piece is still a big problem, something that really needs to be addressed for the France game.

A taste of how I'm feeling, this is the intro to the review I will post:

The ref. The ******* ref. I agree with the yellow cards in the first half, but he must have left them in the dressing room because when they were needed against the Welsh in that second half he never showed them. Kicking the ball away in a dangerous area, a high tackle on the last man, repeated offences and yet the ref let them off with it all. He didn't refer the possible try at the end of the first half, I thought his refereeing of the breakdown was poor as well. Now that's out of the way, let's have a look at the actual rugby.

The game for me was half Scotland's fault, half the referee's fault. Wales should have got another man sin binned. But Scotland as usual missing opportunities and wasting them too. But i feel Vern work is a waste, Yes Scotland look alot better this year but that doesn't show as the results are still against us.

Next week should be a guaranteed win for us but if we slip the next game against italy then i'm really not going to be happy
