[2025 Six Nations] Scotland vs Italy - 01/02/25

Surely if a player presents the ball then realises it's out of the ruck and pulls it back towards him, that's forward and a knock on?

Penalty for playing the ball on the floor, imo
Once it's out you're not anything to do with the ball anyone and just a part of the ruck

More "not releasing the ball" I'd say.
You can tell, because she's holding on to it - always annoys me.

If your lying down on the floor, your not supposed to (deliberately) touch the ball, whether you're pulling it back, stabilising it on the ground, or holding it up in the air

Warr spends one summer with the Scotland side and their 9s start taping their fingers too

Isn't that obstruction? The two scottish forwards were ahead of the catcher in the maul? (Tbh I never know when it comes to the maul at the lineout.)

Either not looked at or the TMO felt Garbisi wouldn't make the tackle.

Scotland's defence is definitely the better of the two sides. Italy haven't looked like scoring a try apart from the intercept.
