[2025 Six Nations] Scotland vs Wales - 8/3/25

Match was a lot closer than it should be. Scotland hang on again. Game gone another 20 minutes Wales could have won that.
This result reminds me of the last 20 years against Scotland....

All the Scottish talk was about development, and getting better etc...

Marketing isn't the problem...

Rugby is the problem!!!!

I've worked for the Giants (nfl) and the sport is the biggest marketing factor.
NFL is a brilliantly marketed product. And the rule changes have made the game much less physical.

I'm telling you. Get some creative Americans and a Dana White character and rugby union will get bigger.

I'm very afraid the inept WR will get crushed here in 2031.

Not sure Townsend's position is tenable for much longer despite the win there. forwards bar Dempsey and Cherry completely outpowered. They will be flicked aside like ants by France next week. 2/5 wins even if by some miracle Scotland win next week ( several red cards and frances whole backline injured?) 3/5 would equal Scotland's best in his 9th tournament

You think the NFL became less physical?!?!?!

The NFL is as gladitorial as ever, maybe not as combative but brutal!!!!

Americans look for the michael jordan effect, Dana white wants a mcgregor v khabin...

That said, it's still 10 steps ahead of work rugby who seem to live in 1997!

If people don't want Americans, hire the French. They understand marketing.

Being someone who has worked with Gregor, and am a big fan of the guy, I don't understand who would do any better?!!!
