That is why I think Parrisse is overrated. People normally namecheck him as one of the greatest 8s of all time. But he was just a very good player in a particularly poor team so he shone. As someone had already mentioned. In the history of rugby I think they are quite a few number 8s in world rugby that were better. I've listed a few already, so he's already out of the top 5. Most put him in top 5 lists all the time. I wouldn't have him in my top 10.

My opinion isn't that he's the 11th greatest number 8 of all time. I haven't made a definite list but the more I think about players of all eras, the further down the pecking order he goes.
