[2014 TRC] Australia v South Africa in Perth (06/09/2014)

Finally the Wallabies take a chance. Good finish

Great pressure kick

Cheated yet again against Australia. Quite used to it. The Wallacheats keep going.

Great result for the Aussies but that is the Championship to the AB's as cannot see the Saffers staying with them if they play like this........! Crikey, England would look good to beat either of these sides....

Wallabies just did us a huge favour. I feel they were very lucky to win though - the Habana yellow was a game changer.

Not Aus dude, the ref.

At least blame the right person

As an AB's fan I never count the chickens before they hatch.

Is a great result for us as it will move us to the top of the table now, we really needed this if we are to have a chance of retaining the RC.

We're as much to blame with that last kick to touch and not taking the 3 points earlier.

But a YELLOW CARD for that?! Really? And that penalty to Duane? Did Clancy forget he is reffing Rugby and not soccer?

Well played to the Wallabies though.

Just average to very poor performances by every single player (and Clancy) on the field barring Vermeulen for SA and Folau and Kuridrani for Aus. At this rate we'd do well to challenge England and stay within the top 3 nevermind push NZ for top spot.

South Africa were 20-14 up and went for touch. If they took the points then obviously that changes the whole game. Those points had to be taken though.

It's about time Australia capitalises when they are a man up.

Feel sorry for Habana. Didn't deserve a yellow especially in his hundredth test.

We were extremely lucky to win tonight - the mistakes very rampant and decision making very poor. Higginbotham must start. The Habana card was a disgrace. Beale looked great at #12. Will digest overnight but overall a very frustrating experience watching that game despite the good result in the end.

Every year we have players sent off for no reason. Game changer. Also, Morne Steyn needs to retire. Irish referees are utter ****.

Did a quick calculation and SA still in 2nd but it's damn close now; 0.31 seperating SA from Aus;

Havana was sent off because the ref didn't like the way jean de villiers spoke to him. He got away with a lot last season but he needs to be careful not to develop a reputation of trying to influence the refs . It was however an unfair decision.

Can't believe we won that, but I wow... what a couple massive f##k ups by the refs this week! There's no way in hell Habana should have been yellow carded for a tackle like that - it was a 50-50 penalty at best. Then in the All Blacks match, the ref completely robs the Pumas of a charge down try (in terms of **** ups, that was the bigger one but it didn't really affect the match).
