2012 IRB Junior World Championship

Excellent try for Scotland 48-12.

EDIT: Despite really letting up and being pretty lazy it's Aus' 9th try 55-12. Intensity has all but gone in this.

Wales leading 18 -12 Fiji.

Good to see the new concussion law coming into play by the ref here.

****ing hell 10th try! 62-12. Strange Aus put the prop in the 23 jersey instead of doing what European clubs do and go by the more logical progression of props 17 and 18 utility back 23.

What time is the Ireland match, I hear this is our worst crop of youngsters in a long time, should I be set for a serious ass forking?

Well to be fair they did well in the 6N only losing to England...which will always happen :p

5.30 in Ireland is when coverage is starting.. Who's been telling you that? The backs aren't as good as last year but the pack are pretty good. Still the backs do have people like Luke McGrath, Chris Farrell and Foster Horan who LN7 has been tipping for ages. Sam Coghlan Murray is also someone who was excellent in school and made the Leinster academy straight out which is fairly rare. In the pack the backrow Gilsenan is another excellent Irish backrow prospect and the others aren't bad. Henderson is someone who has really impressed me and is really been talked up. While Furlong is someone else who's been talked up he gives many hope for our propping situation. This is a team that was going for a Grand Slam before honestly a pretty shambolic defensive performance against England. As usual the question will be wheter we can live with the size and physicality of the English and South Africans and actually make the first up tackles.

67-12 coming up to full time.

EDIT: 44-18 to Wales vs Fiji.

Where you watching this buddy?

Time to see the Irish Boys do well and play brilliantly but loose at the death or something...if they win I lose a reasonably profitable double.

New Zealand won, but I thought they were pretty average. A few stand outs, but I wasn't that impressed to be honest.

it's odd seeing two boys I've played with playing for the country now.

That's what makes it so awesome in a wrong way  I've genuinely come to love seeing how badly it can be butchered.

Yea, he's a year younger than most as well (18), can play next year too.

Australia looked good. Scotland were ok, just let Australia way too far over the advantage line which gave them momentum and ended up in loads of tries. Looking forward to game 2, not sure how they'll go though (especially if it comes down to kicking).
