Who could claim an upset win?

If Arg don't find some better replacement props, Georgia may be able to get an upset against them.

i agree with most of the upsets you all have posted, although i cant see fiji beating england, if that was to happen it would make an already interesting group to watch a spectacular one, would open up even more so than it is already. i think it will be england and ourselves (wales) that will get through, as long as we can stop those pesky austrailian backs from running wild.

If Wales were to get out of their group I would be upset. Does that count?

Surely the biggest upset win would be Wales beating Oz (if someone's posted this already, sorry, cos I couldn't be ersed to read the first three pages!)

If the world rankings are to be believed, Wales beating England would be a bigger upset than them beating Australia, but does the world's number 6 side beating either the world number 4 or 5 really qualify as an upset? Not a great reflection on the strength in depth of world rugby if it does. In these terms, the biggest upset would be Namibia beating New Zealand, but I won't be holding my breath.

Have Wales ever beaten Australia? May be wrong, but I don't think so

Just because we believe our backline is a better attacking force than Wales' doesn't necessarily mean that we're going to do better when it comes to the RWC, better attacking backlines have lost plenty of games (England vs Aus in the AIs for instance).

And to jump back to the actual topic, believing that Wales is the most likely to be upset by Fiji doesn't mean everyone thinks Wales is awful, simply that the scheduling is setup to give Wales a very short turnaround after a very tough match, and given you already have a couple of injuries, depth may be against you.

You are deluded if you think your backline is better than ours, man for man I wouldnt swap any of our first choice available backs with yours, I do think you have a better tight 5 and would love it if Cole and Launchbury were Welsh.
Most games are won up front that gives you an advantage, our back row , man for man is better than yours, in fact both our openside options are better than yours that is unless Robshaw switches to the blind which would see seem a more natural position for him.

That was 16 days ago, give it a rest mate.

I'm sorry, i can't reply to each point in this. You're literally too dumb for me to handle.

Please do block me, and let's agree to disagree on anything and everything forever and ever.

Night

Thats the trouble with 4 or 5 of the English on here they can't be reasoned with they like to talk down to us in their condescending way if anyone has a pop back then they are accused of 'english baiting' or called a troll.

Wales' peak was obviously the 30-3 game, it's been down since with England now overtaking.

Also the inconsistent results from winning Grand Slam to a losing streak late in the year is a characteristic of any side with poor depth. That's pretty obvious.

Its obviously obvious you havent got a clue

Also May and Watson are faster than North and Cuthbert, and Ben Youngs is notorious for scoring individual tries - for all his faults he has a great eye for a quick tap, or cheeky snipe. I think most of his international tries have been from that.
I'd also argue that JJ is a better attacker than any Welsh centre.

Are you a comedian, North, Eli Walker and Hallam Amos are quicker and more powerful than Watson and May, are you just saying stuff to wind people up ?

No, but you, time and time again, show that you do not watch rugby outside of Wales/the Welsh provinces.
They're both clearly faster than North - I'm not massively up to date on Walker and Amos, but I'd be amazed if they were faster. North is clearly more powerful, but Walker is a midget - can't talk for Amos' power.

All you do is come on and here and snipe at the English, it's getting boring.

Thats the thing, you accuse me when a handful of you lot consistently slag Wales off and you expect us not to retaliate, arguing with you lot is like trying to argue with a women, they always think theyre right and get upset at the slightest thing.
There are at least 5 who are regular Wales baiters, together with several others who join in from time to time its pathetic you can give it but you cant take it.

Not sure he watches much rugby in Wales either to be honest given some of his deluded player assessments. One of the dullest posters seen here, and that's some achievement.
