What are you listening to?

Another band I love is Chevelle - I call them 'Tool- Lite' because they're also bass-heavy, and the vocal quality is sometimes similar, though the lyrics are much different. Saw these guys live last year (and met bassist Dean Bernardini), and for three guys they put on one hellava show!

I saw these guys at Longitude and they're pretty decent. Not very Festival-ish, but they're Irish and decent. This is my favourite of their songs.

How was Longitude? I was tempted to get a ticket, but I've already been to Body and Soul this summer and have an eye on a festival in eastern europe later in the year, so I thought I'd give it a miss. Looked rather civilized for my liking.

A friend just brought me for Friday which was probably my favourite day in terms of the lineup.
Eh it was good craic but, very well behaved and tame. **** tonne of smelly hipsters That's what happens when they search you for naggins at the door, and sell pints for 6 quid a pop. Definitely wouldn't pay 60 quid, but it was free and a 15 minute walk away. Bastille were really good performers. Can't see why Ben Howard was the last act.

Went today, was alright very chilled.

I couldn't have had worse timing for music acts these past 12 months, I missed Springsteen in Belfast because it clashed with a very important football match of mine, Johnny Flynn in Whelan's in Dublin last November because I was, ironically, in Belfast. The Felice brothers were in Whelan's the night before my Chemistry exam and I was away for the Arctic monkeys. Briefly contemplated Longitude but I had just got off a plane, thought it was going to **** and would have been there solely for George Ezra, went to see the Dubs today for a third of the price, although that was quite a **** one sided affair. I've been looking for anything good coming up and if I can get anyone to like them and if I can learn to drive the Gaslight Anthem in Cardiff in october are looking good.

This is the other Ezra song I was saying I liked yesterday cmac.

I've a surprising amount of time for Bastille. Mainly because all of their songs are incredibly easy to play.

On that note:

I'm sorry, but I read that as "A friend just bought me for Friday which was probably my favourite day" and really worried about the effects of the internet/your idea of a favourite day/friends. ;)

If I was bought I wouldn't enjoy it. Never mix business with pleasure.

made this some months ago, my first fully electronic/synth-based piece. A change from all the riffy deathmetal... Check it out:

"classic hip hop" ? good Lord, what things have they done to you in Bordeaux tonight ?

not sure if you're lol'ing because i'm listening to hip hop, or because you don't agree Bring the pain is a classic (and let me assure you it is)
