Yeah, he's terrible - Millie BB is bad as well, especially now she's had quite a lot of work done in between seasons so she can't even show any emotion on her face, it's genuinely really distracting when she's talking
Max and Dustin are both very good (but were both on Broadway before being cast, so makes sense), those two will go onto bigger things, maybe Lucas too - Mike's level is probably the Ghostbusters-reboot kinda stuff he's already in
I'm still enjoying it, but definitely just taking it for what it is now: an 80s show that's kinda jumped the shark (anyone who's seen Ep 7
and the truck shootout where they're just killing tons of soldiers
will know what I mean), it's absolutely nothing like the early seasons at this point, but still entertaining
There was so much to hate about the final season. Especially if you are a bit of a history nerd like me. I get it's all make believe and they are fighting zombies and dragons etc but when you have a castle, why the hell would you stand OUTSIDE said castle to have a pitched battle, position your troops in front of your own stakes, send cavalry in completely blind and unsupported etc. It just feels like an insult to the intelligence of anyone who knows even the tiniest bit about how medieval battles were fought.
I had hoped the white walker and iron throne story arcs would be resolved at the same time as the army of the dead slowly made their way towards kings landing. Instead we get a completely half-arsed finish to everything, with only the Clegane fight really being what everyone wanted to see.
