OH YES!!!

i love Big Boi's rapping style ( i'd feel like a plumb calling it his flow), i like how he switches in and out of the double time delivery. I also really like Shutterbug by him.

nope, they are held in high estime as one fo the few groups who can bridge both camps. they are also widely popular as they tend not to spout the drugs and b*tches clap trap.

Saw Guardians of the Galaxy the other day so a lot of 70's/80's pop rock.

Reportedly the most sampled song of all time too.

Couple of (In my opinion) really great songs, that I just happened to pick up on the radio and absolutely loved ( be appreciated by those of the 'older' generation)

this got to me a bit. I'm on sleeping pills, so that's way past drunk. But the chorus is well put together, and the plot is understood quickly and you sympathize for her, she doesn't make it explosivelly over-dramatic. I like how it's directed, again not too cheesy. But the chorus is so well produced, the slight voice chords with the big bass presence, the sucking-in echo delay effect. Pretty cool piece of music. And she's got a nice voice, a rarity today. Yeah, it's touching.
And the world she's depicting...sad, stupid world we live in.

The other vid is a little more stale to me. I like the 80's vibe it's got. But not a great song I think.

Regards the first, the story pretty much sums up at least five years of my life, so agree on that. The second one is soooo eighties I can't but love it.

One of my favourite songs at the moment! Managed to catch them live in Munich last year, didn't really know them all that well at the time but I was hooked after that gig!

Anyway, have been slightly in love with this cover recently:

Seen that one before, prefer it to the monkey's version. Chvrches are definitely one of my favourite bands of the last 10 years. Massive Depech Mode/Kraftwerk synth influence, and 'Lies' is a superb song.
