Wales v South Africa - 23/11/2024 (17.40)

Having a darkly ironic laugh at "Go Compare" painted on the pitch as they flash up the stats

Less than 50m made in one half of rugby!! Incredible.

As a captain in my playing days, had my team performed that badly in 40 mins, and it did happen once, I'd ask the coaching team to leave the changing room, I'd lock the doors and we would have a good old fashioned tear up.

This next 10 mins wouldn't be about processes, technical nous, or tactical awareness, it would be pride and ego, and the threat that if anyone didn't put the biggest 10 mins of their life in then there would be serious repercussions!!!

You can forgive errors, you can forgive mistakes, what I wouldn't forgive was lack of heart or effort.

Or alternatively escape out the back door.

My worry for Wales is that score might actually help S.A. They looked desperate to try and get the nil, which is why they gave away so many penalties. Now they can relax.

Look at that wales bench, heads down, avoiding eye contact with coaches...

None of them want to get on the pitch!
