Wales V France

Yeh, reminds me of his try during the November tests against us...GOD!!! I hate that little ****

Supporting Wales must be great craic at the moment. They've played in the best 3 games of the tournament so far.

Anyone else find Stephen Jones a little predictable??? Maybe Biggar should be given a run soon???

You know, as much as I dislike the frogs winning, I really do love seeing Gatland have a face like a smacked arse.

No. His goalkicking and distribution are impeccable, and he rarely ever makes the wrong decision. I assume you're referring to the occasions where he took the ball up himself against the French defence; in these cases the French blitz pretty cancelled all other options out, and despite this he still made ground by himself.

He's not in the best of form, but he's better than Biggar.

Quick question here, how did Parra get yellow carded?[/b]
He slapped the ball down from an offside position when Wales were rumbling into the right corner.

God bless Wales! Total panic stations and great fun. France made the same mistake as in 2005 and were lucky to get away with it.

Gatland's main point was at half time they decided to put chip kicks in through the 13 channel. Plus watch the Roberts break, when he should have passed to Hook - Basta was trotting back like he didn't give a ****. Substituted right after that. And for the Williams try a French guy didn't play the whistle for the knock on in the tackle and decided to give up, so Williams got away free.

If France don't beat England it will be because of that tant pis attitude. Plus taking off Harinord when the team is in trouble.

Well, let's take the victory as it is, but didn't the french attack as I expected.

The forward were not so superior, maybe the explanation why we didn't run mauls.
So don't know if Lievremont's plan was to count so much on the defense, cause so few points were gained after first hand or muslti-sequeces attacks...

Despite a still massive perf from Hari, I think Lievremenont was right to make the changes he did. It was the best way to give the electro-schock at the right moment, and not let the team drop into a definitive inversion of situation.

Good result, although France committed the cardinal sin of taking the foot off the pedal against Wales. More than any other country, you don't want to give the Welsh a sniff of victory.

James Hook throws a interception pass.
I'm sure i've heard that before for WALES.
Good player, maybe? but you can't keep doing these things at international level.

Gatlands starting to annoy me now. With sticking with players who are just rubbish and no form, a good freshen up is needed before the world cup!
People like Jamie Roberts need to be performing for their shirt, he knows hes going to be 12 every week, and hes playing ****!!

Fairplay, Rees was excellent and Bradley Davies, great courage to even play and he played amazing!

Hi guys !

First it is a victory ! we are becoming english about realism , that is a good point :p

Overall i think we have mastered the match , great defense in first half , a "attacking defense" that was sufficient for the win ...in the second half , i would follow Ginger , it was a cardinal sin defenitly to let wales devellop their game and it is upsetting sometimes to see france able to let go the game like that....it is even not far from a crime to stop to play on williams try...but here we are , waiting for england in paris ..lets hope the story won't repeat itself ;)

I'm already on the starting block for England-ireland match tomorrow ! that is going to be a huge fight !

Thank you Wales for such an amazing game! Never screamed so much at the TV in my life! If only for a few errors it could have been a different victory! Feel bad for Byrne though, n Williams who was awesome as always! Next time Gatland, Think about Mike Phillips, maybe not 100% fit but he can still cause havoc! Hope he's fit to face Ireland. He's great to watch.

Just comeback from the game and must say there are lot of things Gatland has to work on. Ill hopefully post more about my thoughts tomorrow.

But just quickly, the disrespect shown by the French to the minuet silence for me was appalling. The entire crowd was quiet and once again a visiting team cannot keep quiet and respect the minuet. It was South Africa 2 years ago and now the French. Just shut up and respect it.

Sorry, im an englishman on my mums side, a Bok on my dads, but i despise the English bashing i read on here. Why is it so? England are the most succesful N hemisphere side, so is it jealousy? or hatred? ........

Only few errors from welsh ??? we have not watched the same match so ....

you are ridiculous.

Gj#1 , i was in a pub so i did not hear what you are talking about (disrespect) so if you can explain ...it is sad that after kind of a good match to see 2 poor guys have only negative commentary...but yeah it is certainly sad if some few french assholes were full of beer and did not understand that they have to shut up at one point ...i saw 1 welsh and 1 english fighting each other on the street tonight out of the pub , they are assholes aswell ....

Are they? Debatable. And most English bashing on this forum comes from ... the English, because they know the team should be better.

Was a minuet silence for Bradley Davies mum. It was read in English / Welsh and then French so they cannot say they did not understand. It was going well for about 10 odd seconds then some French fans began chanting and people started going SSSSSSSSSSSSSSHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH ... which just encouraged the French fans there. Kaplan blew up early as well. It goes back to the point for me if people are disrespectful then they should be kicked out of a game.

BBC iPlayer Time: (5:35 and 5:47)

Also on a side note, to many fans are leaving their seats during the game for beer, toilet etc it has now become a joke. For the last 10 years along with my old man we are debentures and we sit in the same place for the last 10 years. We sit with the same group of good people and to be honest its like a mini family up there because we all say hi and hows things every game. Yet in the last two games less and less fans are sitting down and its mainly the away ones. My old man pays in excess of £50 for one ticket and I want to watch the game not get up and down every 5 minuets or so. So my second grumbling is SIT DOWN!

Hey Shtove regarding results , it is defenitly true . england is the most succesfull side in Northern hemisphere .

And for our "all white" friend , my prefered back line of all time is english : andrew / guscott / carling / underwood , they were just simply magical and above all their opponents (appart blacks but i think england have a loser syndrom against blacks ) . even above my frenchies sella / charvet / blanco ....

So now we can talk about rugby no ? ^_^
