Wales v England

Sounds good Draggs. Jon Davies still has a few things he needs to work on. His defense is something that can worry me on occasion. He puts in plenty of big hits, but at the same time falls off quite a few tackles too. And yes, no grubbers please, waste of his talents.

I'm hoping we see much more clever attackign from Wales this 6 nations. Austrailia have the right style, pack midfield with plenty of runners, forcing the defense to guess who to tackle. The opposition will enevitably get it wrong on a few occasions, and when they do, make sure there's supporting runners on either side and the try is guaranteed. No need to step the fullback, it's a simple draw and pass to put the supporting player in.

Australia have the best set of backs right now, IMO. AAC looks like he has found his spot.

On to Wales now: I'd like to see attacking 2008 style (meaning not just Shane). While JD might slip off tackles, he is a young lad and has plenty of room for improvement. The only spot where we really lack depth is fullback. Hook can cover, but it is not his natural spot. Daniel Evans or Martyn Thomas have potential, but in Martyn's case he had to get over that injury. If we needed a fullback right now I'd go with Halfpenny (Roberts has been mentioned, but he is best at 12). Halfpenny has solid tackling and a good attacking style for a fullback, as well as having a solid boot. This would also allow a Shane/North wing pairing, which could be lethal (but also awful defensively).

Dwayne Peel starting for Sale against the Dragons on Saturday,
Could mean he's not playing this match?

can't wait for the match ! but it's going to be the last friday night match for the next couple of years.

come on wales kick some english ass !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!11

Do we really have to wait another week for this game! The LV Cup just really doesnt do it for me! Just wish Moodos was fit! Anyone have news on Fouries injury?

Apparently he's expected back in training end of this week/early next week, and they'll assess him there
I hope he's not fit, tbh, I want to see Wood play.
Though the article I read on the BBC site said "veteran flank Joe Worsley could also fill in on the openside"

While I'd be pleased for Wood to get his call up, I'll be ****** off as that'll be 7 players missing (plus Ansbro being a well-spoken sweaty) missing for the Safficens match.

Just been looking through the pictures of the training camp
Cueto wearing the 15 shirt and Abendanon at 11
The mind boggles....

Also Charlie Hodgson at 12 and Banahan at 13

Hopefully the RFU were just being stingy and didn't buy shirts in the right sizes and they had to chop and change :p

Whats the news on Ashton, will he definately play in this match? He wasn't in the Northampton team last weekend, so was just wondering how his recovery from injury is going.
