Wales v England

Roberts? Wilkinson may be a has been but Roberts is a never been mate. One season wonder :p Kidding he was great on the lions tour and in the 6nations before but for me has shown absolutely nothing since. Maybe O'driscoll just made him look very good!

You're off the mark there. Whilst Roberts hasn't quite been as awesome as he was for the Lions where he and O'Driscoll formed a great partnership, he's shown plenty of good form and had numerous good games for Wales. You probably didn't see the second NZ v Wales test in the Summer where he came close to his Lions form. Hell, even against England in '09 he took Worsely out of the game completely, meaning Worsley couldn't be where he was supposed to be, in the forwards! He was awesome for the Blues at the end of last season, and has looked good for them since returning. Then there was that Babas game aswell.

He tends to get marked out of the game on many occasions, but in a way he's still doing a good job, as he creates room for the rest of the Welsh backs simply by being on the field and the opposition having to double up to stop him / use a forward to mark him.

He's got a lot to learn, and I'm expecting him to improve into a much more all rounded player, but show me a centre of his age who's anywhere close to his level?

O'Driscoll maybe,
But Earls/Fitz? Really?

Also: Turncoat?
Noun
turncoat (plural turncoats)
A traitor; one who turns against a previous affiliation or allegiance.

How is he a turncoat in anyway?

he used to live on my friends road but then his father was transfered to england so he's originally irish thats why he sometimes get's jerred by the irsh crowd^_^

I....don't believe you.
He was born in Leeds, went to a private school in Wakefield, then signed for bath aged 18. When did he have time to live in Dublin?

Im not sure about that either.....He's a proud northerner so if your right he must have moved very young, as Olli is right I played against QEGS Wakefield where he went a few years ago and he definately did go there! PS I was pulling your leg abit about Roberts, but do think he is over rated. Also particularly enjoyed his comical reaction to Henson's Wales poster, class marketing from the WRU!

It's become tradition for [strike]Alex Ferguson[/strike] [strike]Gatland[/strike] Fat twat to shoot his mouth off before the England game. Now every Welshman can rally behind him. And every Englishman can laugh at him.

he was not prepared to step outside to the back of the stand with Gareth Williams when invited to do so, so we will see how he fronts up against us.
oh for the love of......
If one match doesnt need to be talked up/get the player fired up its England vs Wales at Cardiff, whats he thinking, this is stone cold steve austin vs the rock level of smack talk.

Played Gatland for this, good to see the English rallying round Hartley as always! He's not a dirty player just misguided.

Aww here we ******* go!

"He's always got a lot to say, hasn't he?"

Yeah, he's not the only one Warren, you fat prick!!

I agree entirely!

He's just become a wind up merchant of late, its really childish :( :( If anything the english will "psyche" themselves because of this and our guys have nothing. You never heard Johnson slagging our welsh guys off, he's got all the right to do so with certain individuals. ah well, let the madness commence.

Lads people might hate Gatland but he is a master of taking pressure off players

So he's taken the pressure off his players by putting them in a position of looking fools if/when nobodys beat them?

I don't follow.
