Transfers rumours

I didn't say he couldn't play rugby under other coaches.
But thus far he has barely been able to take to the field when not involved professionally with Lyn in some way.

That's simply because he's really injury prone.

Injured was he?

Yes, can't you see she is checking his heartbeat?

I wonder if there is a list of matches that Henson has missed due to injury. I am willing to bet that it is longer than what most expect. The sabbatical was certainly partially to do with injuries.

Yeah, but it's not like there hasn't been a substantial amount of games missed through twatting about.

2009/10 season was his leave, and I believe he was indeed injured then. Joined Saracens and was injured. Joined Toulon and was injured when signed up. The Henjak thing sucked, but it seems like Toulon gave him another chance and would have signed him provided he didn't play for Wales. Played in the RWC war ups before injury. Joined the Blues and then was injured. Ice cubes happened and the chuckle brothers send him away. Had a good season for LW and now injured at Bath.

The sabbatical came about after persistent injuries which culminated in a serious long term ankle injury costing him a Lions place in 2009. It was a series of smaller injuries that reoccurred into a serious injury.

Since he has come back with Saracens the only rugby he has missed due to off field stuff was the Blues incident which was a ridiculous and hypocritical situation given that they the same club kept two players on an assault charge, didn't bother Jamie Roberts or Bradley Davies when they went about fighting in pubs, and proceeded to sign a player who had recently ****** in a Italian taxi.

So I don't regard him as fully to blame on that part as there was something strange going on with the coaches there. And that was 1 month missed through an off field incident, hardly much in comparison to all the injuries.

And look as Henjak's past record as well ...

He was injured loads at London Welsh too by the way Draggs, even though he did well when he was fit.

Oh yes, Henjak has priors, as does Fearns...

Rumours of Clermont going for SO'B or Heaslip, hope there's no substance.

Losing JH wouldn't be the end of the world all things considered. He'll be 30 this season and with Jordi Murphy kicking on we could easily play SOB or him at 8 and one of Locky and the ever improving Rhys Ruddock at 6. Losing SOB would be a different story though.

More likely to be SOB, is it not, as Vosloo is getting on a bit and SOB would be ideal recplacement.....mind you, Magner is also getting on and Heaslip could be replacement for him so it might be both of them!!!!

Sean has the farm to look after, no chance.

i/2 million euro a year would help pay a manager!!!!!!!

You are correct though....forgot about that.....Heaslip it is then!

I could see how a move would make sense for Jamie Heaslip. He's 29, has been the starting 8 for two Lions tours, has three Heineken Cups in his back pocket and a grand slam. Playing abroad is probably one of the last things he needs to check off the list.

Of course the simple solution would be for Joe to tell him he has no chance of a shot at the Ireland captaincy if he's in frogland.

EDIT: Also, they're probably not like to pay him imaginary sums of money. Maths wehs.

Tom Biggs (Bath) --> Hull FC

Would be a shame, but understandable if the coaches aren't going to select him.
I would almost certainly tune into some HFC matches if it happens.

Edit: Rumors are very, very widespread now. HFC fans seem adamant it's a done deal.
HFC have publicly declared they have signed an international union winger, just not specified who.

Heaslip's apparently already on that with the tax rebate it would take a good some of money to tempt him solely on finacial grounds.

Ruan Pienaar to Toulon is almost a done deal, apparently. He's stood up for the Ulstermen, and walked out of the room.
