Apparently there was a lloott of interest in Beaumont from other clubs. Over the moon with this, both have gone from academy players to two of the first names on the team sheet this season.

Sort of - He was with us through his teens, but then went to Durham University. While there he played for Durham, and England Students, and mucked in with the Falcons academy too, as that was the local pro side. When he wasn't at Uni he was back training with us, and now he's graduated he's back here full time.

If they can rejuvenate him like they have Saul and Adam Powell then he could be a cracking signing. We are desperate for a proper scrummaging LH. As Vickers (a converted Hooker) is not getting any younger and Fry whilst excellent in the loose is poor at scrum time.
