Ridiculous salary to pay someone who so rarely delivers. Disappointing that Bath probably won't be investing much in Devoto at 10.
If true it's a ****ing retarded amount to spend on someone who is clearly second choice in either of the positions he could play.
Whilst I don't doubt that Bath are at least up to the cap, I think they stand out more due to the quality of players than anything else.
The idea that they are significantly more suspect than some of the other potentially sneaky clubs is silly IMO.
Leicester have 51 players in their premiership squad
Saracens have 44.
Bath have 41.
Saints have 42.
Quins have 47.
That doesn't make sense as in an interview jim malinder stated that saints have a playing squad of 32 + academy?

Your club offy lists 41 http://www.northamptonsaints.co.uk/Rugby/Profiles.aspx

Tigers list 48 players on their Senior Squad page - which of those are injury cover?
So what doesn't make sense?
That would be their 32 + academy then - obviously either someone wasn't added to their page or they had one person play as injury cover.
As in are academy players counted in the salary cap or not?
A Club shall be entitled to up to eight £30,000 credits for players who have graduated from the Club's Academy (total credit value of £240,000). A qualifying player: • must have joined the Club before his 18th birthday;
• is still under the age of 24 at the start of the Season; and
• earns more than £30,000.
These credits only apply to the Senior Ceiling. For example, if a qualifying player earns £35,000, only £5,000 would be counted in the Club's Salary Cap calculations.
