Third Test: Australia v British and Irish Lions (06/07/13)

1 opposite though I'd warn although it usually only Irish but Lions tours could break alot of guys bodies and injury issues could kick in. I hope not as you never wish injury on anyone but it is possible

That's not usually just an Irish problem. We were decimated with injury after the last Lions series. Luckily there hasn't been too many injuries this tour, Jenkins and Warburton the only two from a Welsh perspective.

If the players are managed well early season, hopefully we won't see too much problems in that regard.

We are going to need a tighthead to replace Adam Jones, but same team again in 4 years?

Actually screw it, Adam Jones will only be 36. :p
Great clip of Adam and Corbs being interviewed by SQ.When those two scrum against each other it's going to register on the richter scale.

George Smith post-game reaction: 'I can't wait to get out there. Should be a brilliant contest. What year is it?

What a game if you're a Lions fan!! SO HAPPY!!! Halfpenny for world player of the year. Corbs was great today too!

Don't want to sound like a douche, but... I WAS SO RIGHT fair dues to those who have admitted that they weren't.

Edit: Also to say that seeing BOD's smile when Roberts scored was a great moment, and also the way the players, regardless of nationality or role in the match, were completely and utterly united as a squad. Nearly shed a tear, amazing attitude and the whole reason why they came good in the end. Superb stuff

SO so happy to be proven wrong. Staggered back from the clubhouse and am ready to go stagger to some field in deepest, darkest Kent for an all nighter at some music festival! Wehey the lads!!!

Also, all I could hear in my head for Sexton's try was "FROM OUTTA NOWHERE!"...

Oh boy, you've done it now Prestwick, Cymro's going to go balmy over double posting. :p

With so many Welsh players involved in this tour, any other Welsh fan think that this could be a turning point in terms of Wales v SH sides? This will surely give them the confidence to go out there and turn 'em over. For once, maybe the Lions tour will be of benefit to Welsh rugby!
Good question, except emphasis on the SH side of the question.

After the first two tests, I have no idea how the Lions did that today. Aus were overwhelmed. Can't remember seeing them give up with 10 minutes still left. Either Aus are not in the same SH league as they've been since the '70s, or the NH has figured out a great balance of grind and slash.

I love Halfpenny's interviews: "mumblemumblemumble ... can I go now?"

Well shows how much I know, great game of Rugby, great result couldnt be happier sorry Warren I am a fool but thanks you to you a happy fool.

Great stuff guys Gatlands risks payed off fair play to Davis and Toby who both played really well. Really glad that the guys gave BOD and POC the cup to lift if ever players deserved it was them.

Cracking game. I guess we all now have to hail Gatland as a genius now right?

Halfpenny was always going to be player of the series it's just his year he has everything kicking running and defense are just outstanding. I thought that Roberts made a bg difference particularly on defense and showed some big carring at times. Muarry suprisingly has been the best 9 in the tests happy for him. Corbs also outstanding hes given the team a weapon and a pltform in tests 1 and 3 which were invaluable.

And this picture sorta sums up my feelings
