The Movie Thread

In the past seven days, I've seen Snow White & The Huntsman (Her off Twilight kills it by just being too miserable), Men in Black 3 (Good fun), Dark Shadows (A bit rubbish), Moonrise Kingdom (Charming), Top Cat (Absolutely terrible, and I'm a big Top Cat fan. Avoid it at all costs), Prometheus (Good, but I was hoping it'd be scarier), The Dictator (Good start and end, but lost its way in the middle. Still quite funny) and the Angels Share (Really rather good, to be honest) as well as seeing both the Pirates and the Avengers again. My eyes hate me.

Do you live at the cinema? That is one crazy movie schedule.

Watched John Carter the other day, wasn't that bad. Nice action, that mars princess mhmm...

There's films coming up I really want to see;

Amzing Spiderman
Bourne Legacy
Ted
Rock Of Ages (possibly, don't know if seeing musicals is still considered odd for the the single man)
Total Recall re-make
Skyfall

Best find a job to pay for all this

Feels like it at times. I've just been exploiting Cineworld's Unlimited Card (£14.99 a month and then all films are free beyond that) offer since I finished my exams. I'm intending to see the new Simon Pegg film and this Red Tails thing in the next day or so, too.

Snow White & The Huntsman - Gutted when my mates decided we would watch this in front of MIB:3 and The Dictator. By the end sort of enjoyed it purely because of the actors who played the dwarfs.

Went to see Prometheus. It was a prequel to Alien so I was always going to like it but if you don't like your sci-fi stuff you probably won't. It wasn't as good as I hoped (still good) and the ending annoyed me a little.

Last night the wait was over. Snow White and the Huntsman

Good movie, special effects are impressive, Charlize Theron proves again that she is a top actress. The only bad thing was The Twilight bimbo being typical Twilight, having the same look on her face for 2 hours. She always looks like someone just farted.

All in all a good movie and a pleasant movie to wash away the horrible memory of Prometheus

I was a bi disappointed by Prometheus. The story line was all over the place and hard to follow. There were too many things not making sense.

They tried to hollywoodise it and it didn't work. Still, it was a good enough film. It looked fantastic and there were some good action pieces.

Watched Amadeus and The Prestige recently. Both are top films.

I saw I love you Phillip Morris last night , It was grand , more impressive is the true story..

The Serbian Film ... Let's say I'll never be the same again!

I've heard things about that. It boggles my mind why people would willingly put themselves through things like that. I just don't get the mentality of watching a very disturbing, disgusting film instead of say a Bond film or whatever. My ex-flatmate recorded the Human Centipede and was excited to watch it, it actually makes me retch at some of the content.

I'm not judging people who do watch it, just intrested to know why they watch these type films.

I would not watch this film if I was on my own. Watched it with a group of mates. I don't tend to watch films of this nature but I did and not feeling the greatest after watching it.

Don't judge me :(

Man On A Ledge - A film I would highly recommend. Purely for Elizabeth Banks alone

I've heard much about the Serbian Film.

Not going near it..I'd sooner gouge out my eyes with sharpened spoons.

It contains the greatest line in cinema history. Billy Elliot: you hit like you're from Jersey. (Attacker punches him so he keels over) Attacker: I'm from the Bronx!

Trust, when people say certain words that are linked to the film and you have sort of flashbacks to the film, you know you'r in trouble.
