SuperRugby: Sharks v Stormers. 26/05/2012

Geez, how glad must Anton Bresler be that Beast can military press his weight with ease???

He has been truly amazing since he returned from injury and the definite starting LH for the Boks...

So does Beast use loose forwards instead of weights in the gym?
Freddie and Keegan playing very well, McLeod as usual.

TAARYYYY TIME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

KEEGAN DANIEL!!!! Man, this is unexpected!

Sharks taking out a well deserved fourteen point lead, I'm glad I picked them on the Superbru although I was expecting a closer encounter. Too many basic errors from the Stormers, Sinclair under the kickoff earlier, that maul collapse a few minutes ago, the scrum is being pushed back badly, and Jebb has had to save the ball a number of times as it's come out.

MVOVO!!! It took Gerrie Coetzee a couple of minutes and this was a close-close-close call but amazing finishing!!! Also an honorable mention to Marcell Coetzee, the real talent in the squad next to Lambie and for me the revelation of the year across the SANZAR countries.

Wonderful from Marcell Coetzee, pulling both defenders in and giving Mvovo a good run in.
Paaaaaaace. 25-6.

25-20.... After a pass that was a mile forward!!!

This is a thing for Cave Dweller to think about:

Stormers while it was dry: 6 points
Stormers after it started raining: 14 points

Since the try by Mvovo, we haven't scored a single point. That's over 30 minutes scoreless

Here we go. Lost forward, losing possession with 2 minutes to go and a lead of 5 points. This will be 27-25 in the end. 2007 final all over again

One more scrum, one more...

Yes!!!
What a win. Poor second half but who cares. Stormers are very lucky to get an LBP.
Michalak was back to his normal self in the second half.

And there we go! It's a shame we didn't get a 4th try, but this match was difficult enough as it is. 4 points I take with a smile on my face!!!

The Good:
Definitely Coetzee for me. He was better than Alberts, who was the man of the match according to Joel Stransky, but what does he know?
The Bad:
Missed high tackles, a missed forward pass. Not a good game by JD Peyper. Michalak should just play 40 minutes next time.

Alberts was IMMENSE!! Sorry Eze, but for once I'm gonna agree with Joel here...

Alberts was good, but Coetzee was simply better. Stealing the ball, line-breaks, assisting on Mvovo's try with an incredible run. He is just the whole package.

- Strength
- Height
- Speed
- Vision

And he's only 21!

I've been really impressed by Coetzee and I'm delighted because I was convinced to put him in my fantasy team and he's been an integral part of it. :D

Well done Sharks, the better team won today, there's no doubt about that. Something needs to change if the Stormers are going to have even an outside chance at winning this competition.

We did miss Joe and Siya but that's no excuse, we were outplayed and the Sharks won fair and square.
I'm going to cry myself to sleep now :p.

Mvovo's finishing was real class. Having >80kg hanging off your boot pulling you into touch but not losing pace... and then a good dive to avoid the touchline.

That was Some incredible finishing. He must be really strong for a winger

Could someone please post Mvovo's try? Can't find it anywhere.
