SuperRugby: Sharks v Stormers. 26/05/2012

You're good at grabbing Lions' players, so get their coach too, get Mitchell :D

Come on, we poach from Free State, everybody knows this. Lions get their players from us.
Don't like Mitchell, personally.

Yeah true, you're more in a trade relationship with the Lions, while raiding the Free State :p

Hmm, what do you think about Dawie Theron, when he's done coaching the U20 side?

I haven't seen enough of the SA U20 or provincial grade-age teams to judge Theron.
Being a grade age coach is tough I would imagine, not having a player for any more than two/three seasons.

My biggest issue is player management. We have an outstanding squad but never play like it. I want someone who isn't afraid to drop a player if they are in poor form, and can get the best out of this team.

I think the other big problem with Plumtree is his tendency of moving players around in the backline like... like... something that gets moved around a lot in a backline.

A suitable metaphor evades me.

Like a ball? That simile wouldn't work in Pretoria, though.

Yes, play them all against us.
I thought Catrakilis was a decent player, but faded near the end of the 2011 CC.
Coleman playing at fullback now?

JP du Plessis was billed by WP fans as the next big thing, haven't heard too much of him since then.
Fenton-Wells isn't a bad back row either, could find himself in the training squad with the current injuries.

As I am a ghost. Stop talking crap drags. Where did you hear WP fans up there in Wales?

Come-on guys, just look at the sharks emblem, you can't get a closer look alike, it looks just like Plumtree. No seriously, I think he is way past his best before date!!!
How about old snorre???!!! That should finish them off for good.:D

@Stormers fans

any of the undefeated Vodacom Cup winning side deserve a chance?

These are the guys that have stood out the most for me. I'd give Ferreira and Coleman another year in Vodacom cup before moving them up though.

Coleman looks a lot better at 15 with more time and space than he does at 10. Jury still out though IMO as 15 is a position for the WP Vodacom cup side that have looked brilliant in the past bu has not delivered higher up (Lionel Cronje & Coleman)

Catrakilis was awesome at the start of last year's Currie cup but has yet to regain that form after getting injured. Will have to give him time.

Ferreira might see himself get upgraded as the senior side is still light on good props.

Our backrowers were the stars and it's a shame these guys are now stuck behind Jeb Sinclair. Maybe now with the VC done they'll get their chances.

JP du Plessis owned in age group and I want to see him on the wing and get some maturity to his game before trying him in the centers. A well balanced runner and strong.

A player I was hoping to see more for WP was Tshotsho Mbovane on the wing. Better than both Ederies and Poolman IMO. Maybe they thought he is too young.

I hope Quinn Roux stays on at WP but it'll be difficult to crack the senior side with Bekker, Etzebeth and Elstadt there. His better than Steenkamp IMO already.

Sharks line-out is shaky, Stormers have to watch out with the rucks, Sharks very quick to compete for posession.

Almost 10 minutes done and Stormers score. Penalty by Grant: 0-3

I don't feel a win coming for the Sharks. Too sloppy on defense, conceding too many penalties and just horrible with the line-outs.

3-6 after 15 minutes.

Thank you Freddie. Said some bad things about Charl for taking it quickly though.

And there we go!!! TRY TIME!!!!!!!!!!!!!! FREDDIE MICHALAK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Beautiful attack. The kick forward, Lambie grabbing it, offloading to Alberts who crushed through the defense and from a quickly taken penalty McLeod throws it to Freddie who grounds it.

10-6 after 18 minutes!!!!

WOW! There's a Youtube moment coming! I will upload it ASAP. Beast lifting Anton Bresler, who falls backwards and Beast just holds him over his head. Amazing

A lot of high tackles of the Stormers being missed by JD Peyper there.

Fatso messing it up hahahaha. Slapstick knock-on there.

Cave Dweller is going to love this. Only try by the Stormers so far is an intercept try. Must be because they're playing at 7...

25-13 now, after Grant converts the try.

Sharks throwing it away here... Giving away penalties again. 6 penalties in 4 minutes in our own 22.

Can we get a 4th try? This is the chance to take it! C'MON!!!!

Here we go... Just give it away. Aplon with a try and the win is starting to slip away...

I guess Michalak bought himself a couple of cans of confidence. Man, he is playing amazing again today

Michalak has been amazing so far..agreed Ezequel, perfectly weighted kicks, a try. Sharks are really building some momentum.

Edit: Agreed with commentary team, Stormers need half time badly right now they are lucky only to be down by a little bit.
