Rucking and referee suggestions
I have a few ideas and here they are;
Having the referee that actually talks to you eg. "Release the ball, Forward Pass, Advantage to England".
Have a button (for example Square) so that when you get tackled you press X to bind your players and when the referee shouts release then you press Square to release the ball and keep possession. However if you don't bind quick enough or your forwards don't get their quick enough you can chose not to release and concede the penalty and risk cards. If you don't want to concede the penalty then you could release and if there's a close player you could roll/throw it to him if not then you could concede the turnover.
Also if you get pushed of the ball in the ruck or just concede a turnover from not binding into the ruck rather than it just perfectly rolling to the back of your opponents side, in a messy ruck the ball could just bobble out randomly.

All I ask is that you include a chip and chase! It's used a lot more then the damn grubber! Put the grubber in a set play or something!
Anyways, can you guys hurry up and show us something... Rugby challange is showing some very good signs!

Can there be a Career mode? Like in Fifa11, where you can be a manager, manage any club team you want with the possibility of being fired or offers to bigger, lower or International teams. There could also be a 'Be a Pro mode' within Career mode, where you can play as one individual player, preferably created, and take him through the ranks of your club and then country, while you can also join other teams. If you follow through with the 'Be a Pro idea' you could do a 15v15 Online Team play. This post is kind of copying Fifa11, but it's all Ea and I'm not asking for a rugby version of Fifa11. I am just simply stating these parts and these parts only could be incorporated into the game.
this is a great idea. (who would've thought a pom would know anything about rucking! just kidding)

I don't know how to explain this on so I will just give you and example.
Steve Thompson, Strength 89
Toby Flood, Strength 52
If you are running with the ball as Steve and running towards Toby just before contact if you press (for example O) you will stay on your feet and begin a driving maul because Steve's strength is better than Toby's. However if you were running with Toby at Steve and tried this you would get flattened. On some occasions Flood may be able to create a maul but that's not so likely.

Team Moral should be included, if the team is beginning to get demolished naturally there moral will be low, this will impact the game, either more knock ons, more turnovers, more failed lineouts, more failed passes (too far ahead, too low, too far behind). (high moral would improve performance). Low moral could be combated by bringing on an impact player to slightly increase moral and try get the team back into the game.
3. Players should have a chance to mess things up while playing. i.e. If a prop tries to take a drop goal or clear a ball with a kick, he would be noticeably crap, especially compared to a fly half. You could implement a random chance that the kick would go wrong and would either go completely off track or not far enough or something. This could be implemented on all players meaning even a fly half could mess up a kick, although it would be a lot harder and rarer for someone playing the correct position to mess up. (this feature could be linked with moral). It would add some realism to the game in the sense that no one plays the same every game, you have good days and bad days.

they should have THE MAN OF THE MATCH AWARD
It should be alot harder, it is to easy ATM to go wide and score, and with players like O'driscoll it's just not funny, he scored 18 tries for me vs Russia. I won 230-0, 20min game on Elite. I mean come on.
A carrer mode would just be epic, so would a lions tour.

When you have someone standing in a position, say if someones sent off, they can not catch passes like it did in Rugby08. But maybe not as much? Say if I played as England, with Flood sin-binned and Foden standing in. Foden would miss a couple of catches. Why shouldn't he? It's a different position. But on Rugby08 it was EVERY SINGLE PASS! He's played Rugby since he was a child I think he could catch at least one pass!

Guys from HB posted on here the other day saying it's definitely still being made, and that they're still working hard and are getting ready to release things in a little while

Be a pro
All i want to ask is will there be a be a pro mode because in every other sport game you get that and i was hoping that because the manager mode wont be there maybe they left space for be a pro
