Southern Kings v Lions

Jesus, we're being turned over like schoolchildren. You'd never guess that this is a team of internationals. Lineout is a shambles aswell.

he was due one!

Lineout still a shambles, time for Rees in the second half.

Balance in the backrow is all wrong and Blair is getting **** all cover from them.

another poor effort from van der Westhuizen, letting the Lions off the hook.

Not too good to see Murray hobbling away on the crutches there.

3-3 HT, worst performance so far from the Lions utterly clueless at times, losing the 2 players early on may have affected them but not to this extent.

Yep, but for poor handling the Kings should be much further ahead. No gripes with the referee at the breakdown this time; the backrow is abysmal. Blair is suffering as a result and therefore nothing is working. O'Callaghan is the only one who I'd say has played well.

Total shambles so far,,

Really need to pull themselves together for the second half,,

Back row need to actually get themselves into the game and start to get involved at the breakdown!

Oh dear. How the hell did we miss the ball there? Fitzgerald the only one aware of that...

the Kings are still conceding a lot of penalties on the deck so we should get a card for the next one.

Try to Monye. Thank God. Not exactly pinpoint from ROG but a nice bounce.

Excellent conversion though. 3 - 13.

wasn't sure what Barnes was talking about there, Monye clearly knocked the ball back and then got it down, no problem. Decent kick from ROG as well.

ROG's goalkicking had been superb on this tour. Might be enough to force him into the test 22 alone

He'll need to sort out his kicking out of hand, which has been **** poor, but yeh. It's a shame, because we've got three pieces of a great flyhalf on tour: ROG's kicking and tactical mind, Jones' game management and temperament and Hook's flair...

Another Kings player sin-binned.

Well that one was a beauty. Big chance for the Lions here

problem is though that Jones hasn't been up to the task either, O'Gara's kicked well out of hand today, much better than he has done certainly but his passing and defence will see him on the bench for Saturday.

Penalty Try for the Lions after a few scrums collapse. Can't imagine this not going over. 3 - 20 now
