If there was even the slightest bit of credibility in the claim, you could hardly blame Garces for hating the Saffas at this stage! 'Tis only natural.
In fairness to them their win/loss ratio when Graces refs is skewed but it's just not how you go about things really is it? It's like a collective version of what Fitzgerald did regarding Nige last week.

Just wish my mac hadn't died recently as I would quickly photoshop Jerome's head on the infamous Peyper photo :D

It happens though, I think we had an identical record with Barnes before our Scotland game in 2018 and there were a few clangers on his part thrown in, now he seems to be the only ref we win with!

Garces generally gets the best games along with Owens and Barnes, South Africa lost most of their top of the table clashes between 2015 and 2018 because they were shite, there's no conspiracy!

The win loss ratio isnt as big a thing as Garces being an awful ref. He seems to be reffing a different sport at times and has no fluency or approachability with the players much the same as Rolland used to be. Cant help but already feel his decisions will be the deciding factor in the game.

Also really cant see Wales getting anything out of the game. The back row is now very lightweight and effort (Wainwright) can knly go so far. He will work his socks off but wont be enough against such a strong pack.

If JD2 is out then the Boks will destroy us in that 13 channel.

Totally... and to be fair I'm not sure Graces 'meshes' with the way Wales play neither. Over reactions on this scale just amuse me.

Mind you, if Wales made the final... and World Rugby managed to pry John Lacey out've retirement to ref us, I'd be straight on to 'change.org' doing my very best Wilhelm Coetzee impression (with a Welsh twist) ;).

I don't blame you! As illustrated in the post above yours you Welshies don't even like the good ref we produced, never mind the worst of a god awful bunch!

Oh we'll never forgive Rolland... regardless of the fact that he in all 'probability' applied the correct punishment under what was the flavour-of-the-month back then (spear/dump tackle).

I look at the tackle now and still (maybe it's just my Welsh bias) but I personally would give Sam only a yellow (even if it happened with a Bok performing an identical tackle on a Taf in this upcoming semi) as I honestly feel that once he realised that Vincent Clerc was rotating over the horizontal, he released contact and didn't 'complete' the dump. As I said though, I'm more than prepared to admit that I could be seeing things purely through daff-tinted specs.

I think this will be the best game out of the semi finals, cannot wait till kick off but the question is who will Wales be playing in the Final?

Welcome Chris... but if you insist on using sarcasm please use the emojis provided. That kinda first post (sans winky face emoji) could open a whole can of worms ;).

Are there going to be any surprise selections for the Saffa team? Only managed to see 2 of their games thus far......... won 1 lost 1 so just an average 50%er type of team:D.
My biggest fear for Wales is that Shingler might make it onto the pitch at some stage. WTF has happened to him? Before injury and when we were "trying" to play a bit more open he was great.

He has had a year and a bit out and not played any regional games since he is back just tests. He's rather a bit rusty and as you mentioned Wales have tightened up their forward game which doesn't really suit him.

Read Sams autobiography. He says as much. He hit him so perfectly Clercs body overtook itself and on realising he would go right over on his head if he followed through he has released to prevent him going on his head forcefully. He just hit him so well as he read the play and the pace and forces meant only one thing was going to. As soon as he hit him it was going that way. He did what he could to mitigate it but Rolland wanted to make a point.
