[RWC2019][Pool D] Round 2 - Australia vs. Wales (29/09/2019)

This is what everyone who has complained about reffing has wanted. Now it's being implemented more complaints.

I blame world rugby for this mess. We're at a point where I don't think we can make the game any safer without compromising the sport on a fundamental level. Think we need to loosen up as a collective and accept that sometimes accidents will happen.

Wales in danger of letting Australia back into this game. Desperately need a spell of possession.

You probably misunderstood the situation who called for the refs to be stricter ? We want the ref to let the game flow and stop blowing the most random **** ever

No, it's not. There are two separate discussions.
1) What the rules say
2) Whether the rules are being implemented correctly.

People complaining about the call are talking about 2), not 1).

should probably be a 3rd for consistency.

How many penalties in the 5m channel? Counted at least 5 times he raised his hand?

This is purely a clarification, but I thought if the defender is on the try line, but puts his hands on the floor in front of the line, that's offside.

Mainly asking as so many Welsh players were doing it, so I may be wrong.

And Beale on. Some high balls to him from Wales I would have thought.

Yes, defenders hands must be off the floor or behind the line.
