[RWC2019][Pool D] Round 2 - Australia vs. Wales (29/09/2019)

Wales treating this like a knockout game. Australia needed that. Need the next score though to truly be back in the game.

Nice try Australia. Offload by Pocock was good, best thing he's done all game.

Wasn't Poite though, TMO was intent on giving a penalty.
Poite suggested a penalty and asked the Question TMO if he agrees. TMO agreed but he sounded unsure almost like uh yes you can then Poite gave it. TMO did not prescribe to Poite what action should be taken

Why is it so bloody hard for people to admit the referee made a mistake that favoured their team?

I can understand not saying a word about it, but going to ridiculous lengths to justify what is clearly wrong is just silly.

Wales getting away with murder this half,
Tackled in the air, high tackle and seatbelt tackles all going unchecked

Edit: Finally checking at least one of them

He literally jumps into that tackle, zero attempt to tackle low

This is the big problem. Can't check all of them. I know in the premiership I've seen Barnes ask the TMO to check without stopping the game and then just trust his decision. Maybe needs to be more autonomy for the TMO.

It was the weakest high tackle you'll see but I thought anything directly high (so not sliding up or not a seatbelt) was a minimum of yellow?
