Samo on the wing should be good for a laugh, I reckon he will do ok vs the russians but whats the point.

It's hard to understand why they didn't send some replacements a.s.a.p give them a warm up vs the Russian's

i was reading an article stating that they're going to play the following backline burgess/phipps, cooper, mitchell, barnes, AAC, Samo and o'connor

should be interesting especially for the centre combo as that where I believe those two should have been playing all along

I kinda liked having quade as fullback, he's there on defence anyways so his lack of tackle shouldnt make a difference, but on the other hand he's got way more space to work with for the counter attacks, i'd be looking at a back line of the likes of

11 Ioane/Mitchell
12 Oconnor/Barnes
13 Kurtley Beale
14 AAC
15 Quade cooper

I've never seen Beale play on the outside center but he surely cant be left out.

Should be a good game to watch, wonder where the half backs will play when they come on? Might have Genia at Fullback or on the wing?

Samo on the wing should be good, I reckon the Russians will struggle to put him on the ground + he should be a bit faster because he wont have to do so much work sitting on the wing. Scott Higginbotham got his wish and is playing 6.

I think this lineup is a good side, the bench will be the question mark if we get injuries during the game could the bench fit in fine? I mean none can play wing, or centre. But even puting phibbs as wing he would make the tackles and we will win no matte what vs Russia, also we will score 4+ tries and get bonus point easy. I think they havnt asked for replacments because they know everyone will be fit and healthy for the quarter finals. Rob Horne maybe not 100% fit but he was a replacement anyways. I do want to know why they have not sent over a replacement for Wycliff Palu will be, they should have him there now... maybe Matty for 1 test.
