Not sure if it's been mentioned on here, but Sale Sharks u23 side will play Krasny Yar on 20th April at Heywood Road, Sale.
We have decent enough links with Russian Rugby through Steve Diamond's time out there, and Maxim/Vadim Cobilas both used to play for Krasny Yar, and Andrei Ostriov for the national side.
The site "Krasny Yar" there is no information about the match against the "Sharks" U23, but if the match will take place it will be great.
Brothers Kobylash leading players team Moldova and Ostrikov leading player of team Russia.
Also for the "Shark" played Kirill Kulemin, now he plays in France.
He started playing hockey on ice, then played Rugby League, a member of the World Cup in 2000, then he went to the French "Agen", then played for the "Castres".
At the World Championships in 2011, he did not play due to injury, then went to England and played for the "London Welsh" and "Sharks".
After the match against Uruguay, he said the end of the performances for the national team of Russia, but now it seems Pervukhin convinced him to continue to play for more.
Pervukhin recently said that overseas could not find anyone with Russian roots, so I have to rely on our own strength.
Kirill this year marks 35 years of age and with his experience he can strengthen Russia's national team.
