Russian rugby

Found a video of the match USSR against New Zealand XV in 1991.

Then the Soviet Union national rugby union team (players without Georgia) held 8 matches in New Zealand.

May 25 USSR - "Nelson Boys" (3rd Div.) 25-24

May 29 USSR - "Marlborough" (3rd Div.) 23-16 (13-7)

June 1 USSR - "Canterbury" (1st div.) 15-73 (9-31)

June 5 USSR - "Mid Canterbury" (2nd div.) 33-10

June 8 USSR - "Otago" (1st div.) 11-37

June 12 USSR - "Taranaki" (1st div.) 16-39

June 16 USSR - New Zealand XV 6 - 56 (0 - 30)

1991 год Новая Зела&#108.jpg

June 18 USSR - "King Country" (2nd div.) 22-15

In any case the Russian national team in rugby is not so much inferior to New Zealand, as the New Zealand national team in ice hockey behind Russia)))

Russia won the men's 7s qualification for next year will play in the World Series!

https://twitter.com/WorldRugby7s

I do not like 7s, but it's nice to see the full stands at the stadium!

Held in Moscow World Championship 7s in 2013, so in the stands was empty.

I also did not go the way ...

Match with Zimbabwe was very entertaining!

10 seconds before the end of the match Zimbabwe to try and win, but still Ostroushko brought Russia victory!

Ostroushko could strengthen and team rugby 15, he played in the World Cup in New Zealand and did try Italy and Australia.

Decisive try Ostroushko! :champion:

But in general I do not like rugby 7, it's not rugby, it's championship run with the ball.

Do not like it either as a sport or as a catcher.

I generally difficult to surprise spectacle because I was at the concert "Metallica" in Moscow in 1991 ))) :bananarock:

Ostroushko is my favorite russian player
He was very good during the last RWC and deserved a top european team, more than Artemyev in my opinion
Too bad he plays only for Russia 7's this year

Yes, it is a pity that he plays only 7s.

It could reinforce the main team.:(

It's his fault and the loss of the ball led to try Zimbabwe for 10 seconds before the end of the match.

And he corrected this mistake!:)

It's nice that our former coach watching rugby in Russia!:hi:

In Russia there are three league teams play in the Rugby 15.

Super - league - 10 teams that I've presented, Major League - three territorial groups of 4-6 teams.

This basically doubles teams of the Premier - League and semiprofessional and amateur teams.

Likely to play in the tournament two teams from the Crimea.

And in the national league for more 40 amateur teams in 7 territorial areas.

It looks like this.

Friendly Match "White Sharks" Ivanovo - Moscow State University 46-0.

http://vk.com/weloverugby?w=wall-2111899_2201

"Sharks" - middle peasant zone "Centre-North", University of weakest team championship in Moscow.

The winner will be revealed in the tournament in Moscow in September.

It created a rugby team in Volgograd, English subtitles.

"Yenisei" won 30-20!

I think it was our team will play in the Challenge Cup, the Romanians will not win in Krasnoyarsk on 2 May.

Not sure that our rivals agree to fly so far away.

From London to Krasnoyarsk 5640 kilometers in a straight line, so that the "Yenisei" probably will play in Moscow and Sochi.
