Always one of the most exciting games of the championship. Important that we don't undo all the hard work that we started in Ireland by taking the marauding Scots lightly. I would be tempted to start with the team that started in Dublin . We need to improve our Kicking thou.

And less of the same please Scotland. :(

Can any of the Welshmen tell me if Block L8 is behind the posts?

I take it you never watched last year's game? :s

Thanks.

I HATE sitting behind the posts.

Can't believe anyone would willingly buy a season ticket there as well. You can't even boo at the ref for not calling slightly backwards passes forward!

Scotland needs to make a change to more of a running game. Our best players had huge runs and no support. I hope AR makes the appropriate changes and does not stick with the same starting XV.

Also that was a try... devastating call.

If Parks kicks like only he can at the weekend Wales could put 40-50 points on Scotland. I feel a Grand Slam is coming for the Welsh this year.

We have to be confident after beating Ireland away, I didn't see anythig from Scotland to suggest anything other than a win for Wales after watching their inept performance agasint England.

I hope Warburton is fit after he sufferred a dead leg against Ireland and we Roberts and Priestland will be more match fit after playing their first games for a while, we may also get to see the return of Dan Lydiate, as long as our defense plays as it did against Ireland we should have no problems because in attack I feel we are far superior to Scotland.

We all do but I think in how Tipuric played when he came on we know its not the end of the world is Sam misses the game.

Hopefully Lydiate will return at 6, and Ryan moves into the second row alongside Evans. Tipuric showed he can fill the 7 jersey pretty well, so if it's a tight call for Sam I think I'd probably prefer playing it safe and give him a week off. Other than that, same as yesterday.

I'd like to see Bevington given some gametime, but Gill had a decent game against Ireland, and should probably be rewarded. Paul James is a must on the bench to cover both sides. I'd be half tempted to start Ken Owens if I were Gatland. Bennett had a solid game, where he did a massive amount of work in defense, but his throwing wasn't accurate enough (seemed to be too short, allowing O'Connell to get in front of our jumpers). Owens has deserved much more gametime than he's been given, and I'm eagre to see him some more on the international stage. Bradley Davies will be banned, meaning Ryan will have to shift forwards. Lydiate looks like he'll be fit, but I don't want any players risked next week. If Lydiate or Sam Warburton aren't 100% fit, then we can survive without them.

In the backs, same again is probably the right thing to do. I'd like to see Beck on the bench, because I feel this could be a good game to introduce him to international rugby. Henson can then get some gametime against Italy, and Gatland can pick the two best for the France game.

Why is Gill's position even being questioned? If Jenkins is not fit then Gill is the man to fill his boots. Did a job, more than held his own and was good in the loose.

@Dull Joking about Mongo, I know he wasn't used ;)
I agree about not risking Dan or Sam. Tipuric can do the job at 7 and possibly Shingler at 6.
Beck might be able to cover wing, so put him on the bench at 22.

Still not sure about Gill. He calmed down after the first quarter but I think Bevington will offer more in the loose than him. I'd like to see Bevington get a fair shot, but I don't see when aoart from this game.

wasn't too impressed with Gill, conceded a few penalties and didn't seem as good a scrummager as Paul James, the scrum was more dominant with Paul James in it

Gill deserves his place he done well against Ireland and has been in impressive form for Saracans this season, Gatland has said we got Lou Reed to play so that might be an option he's looking at also Lydiate should be fit, and Alun Wyn-Jones should be back soon as well.

Bevington is no better than Gill.

No ... just no. He did well at scrum time and Gill offers more round the park than James.

By all means start Gill again, I just wish we were able to see Bevington to compare.
Bevington has some wheels for a prop, I want to see him 'do a Gethin'.
Also, James came on for Jones, Gill played 80, Duck.

he didn't do too badly at the scrum time, but normally with Gethin Jenkins or Paul James there we dominate more
