Rate Tier 1 nations in order

aye i can understand that but have you seen Italy's performances ? they got destroyed by England this year on home soil and got destroyed by Ireland. They also lost all three of they're test matches when really they should have won 2 out off 3 while.

EDIT: also note we had to play a very strong springbok team with scotland having to select from players only 2 teams.

Doesn't matter to me. That's how I see it, and it's not going to change would you rather want my log to be like this:

shared no. 1 spot: SA and NZ
Shared 3rd spot: Wales, England, Australia and France
Shared 7th spot: The rest

Italy tbh didn't really get smashed but they simply played awful worse than scotland

In their game against Fiji they only manage to score through penalty tries in the scrums. They didn't score any other points. Fiji however scored tries from everywhere. The Italians looked slow and unfit. In Fiji's last try near the end one of their backrow out sprinted the Italian backs.
Had Fiji played Scotland that wouldn't have happened and Scotland would most definitely have scored tries from elsewhere rather then scrum penalty. And they would have won.
And to think Italy is better than Scotland is in my opinion inaccurate. Scotland at least have a variety in their play and attack. Italy is just embarrassing, I mean they might as well put out a team of forwards and forwards no backs. Having a game plan that relies on scrums and scrums and penalty and penalty. At one point in the Fiji game I thought do this Italian even know how to run and pass or just pop ball and crash.

I really can't see how a game of 5 years ago have any bearing on the current rankings for this thread.

Like the beginning of my post states, it's my opinion on how I see the teams being ranked and that it is biased and subjective. Of course people from nations who I undervalue will feel aggrieved.

My low ranking for Scotland has something to do with the demolition SA dished out earlier this year...

Ah, I see, and I totally forgot about how close Wales came during the summer so fair enough. You boys will lose when you come to Dublin this year though.

Wales and France ahead of us eh? That's cute I guess. Never mind me, I'm just lighting my torch, picking up my pitchfork and assembling my mob.

Ireland win one Six Nations this once, all of a sudden it's cute when other Tier 1 nations are put ahead of them. It's ADORABLE !!!! :D

Is IoM an IRB member?

If not we should be..............................!!!

Besides, even Cotter would not want another pensioner!!!

Edit.......wikepedia.....

Rugby union in the Isle of Man is a popular sport. As such, it has no national competitive side of its own, and is not affiliated to the IRB in its own right. For this reason, it has no IRB ranking.
