Dallas once again showed how mentally fragile they are. So frustrating being a Boys fan.

Today's game will be a cracker. A chance for Miami to show they are real contenders. Like NE and Seattle yesterday it is a chance for them to get a big scalp away from home. In contrast NO at home could really put their mark on the season too. Excited about this one!

Oh, and not sure Kiwis have picked up on this, but my Telstra T-Box just started to show the new Summet sports free to air sports channel. I noticed on Monday they were showing both the Vikings v Steelers game live and then the Denver Philly game live. Seems they haven't quite managed to figure out how to incorporate ads into the game like the US channels have (which was a bit annoying). Meant that on two occasions the field goals were not shown but anyhow, free NFL on NZ TV is a good thing ;)

Go Phins!!

On the tv coverage subject, it's amazing how many American's love the Sky coverage, as they've realised that NFL is not just a sport created to cover the space between commercials ;)

NFL shows how ruthless it can be. Tampa QB Josh Freeman lost his starting job after a couple of poor weeks and now doesn't even have a team anymore

The Josh Freeman era in Tampa Bay is over.

NFL Media Insider Ian Rapoport reported Thursday that the Buccaneers called all 31 teams in hopes of swinging a trade for their once-prized quarterback before making the decision to release Freeman. Rappoport added that the Buccaneers will pay all of Freeman's 2013 salary as part of his release.

And his agent now saying that the Buccaneers leaked details of the fines he's been given, thus putting off potential teams.

Wasted Talent. I can't see him being picked up anytime soon. Needs to prove himself off the field first.

Could work out well going to be Rogers' back up for a couple of years. Raiders less so.

Can't see Raiders. They have just dropped Flynn to 3rd string, although they are looking to shop him if you believe the rumours. I know the Packers only have Seneca Wallace as back up but I don't see what they would want with them.

Especially if you consider the Rogers has plenty of years left in him so any backup at Green Bay would only play the one off game at the end of a season or through any injury and after being the starter and earning starter dollars I dunno if he'd take kindly to going into a place as a 3-4 year no.2

That's true, don't think his attitude would allow him to be a 3rd String QB.

I'd rather see a side give Russell another shot as a QB than Freeman at the mo.

The harshest thing is the majority of the qb's have been 'mollycoddled' since high school, and once moving into the NFL, they are probably accustomed to a 'money is no object' lifestyle. So, whilst Freeman will pick up his years salary (probably around 2million), unless he can find another team, he's probably going to be fleeced by 'advisers', and struggle to adjust to 'real life'.

(He could always go to the Bronco's as backup QB, but then again, so could I, as there's no way 18 is going to let anyone else take a snap, and at this rate he's going to be playing until he's 50 :p)

Jax has just said no to him, which would be the next best place I thought he'd fit in (every other team either has a high-priced recently bought QB, or one that they're grooming). Heck, even the Brows look promising with Hoyer right now. His best bet may be backing up Pryor in Oakland/

Nah don't think the Raiders will look at him to be honest.

Tebow is looking a likely shout again for the Jags.

I think he'd be a fit since Flynn has stunk it up. I'd still take Freeman over Tebow though.

Jags should try this, at this point they may as well try something and bring in someone who can get a fan base excited and finds a way to win, they are heading towards the worst season in NFL history, they look unbelivably awful even worse than the 0-14 Bucs and 0-16 Lions in years gone by.

I'm pretty sure Manning is a QB sent from the future to destroy all records. The guy's a machine!

Romo is having a better game imo.

I'll take the rings EVERY DAY of the week, but sometimes I wish Flacco would post numbers like that.

Wow! Was definitely not expecting a 'first to 50 wins' game. Great to watch, and made up a bit for my Phins complete lack of any o-line.

Stonking game. Not if you like hard fought, defensive games though
