Are you going with 'vanilla' scoring system in it? I'm looking to set one up as well, but with a live draft (it's more fun, though tough to organise with SH players)

Oh, and I'll be setting up another really easy to play league on this site....

http://www.nfluk.com/fantasy-football

(It's the one SKy uses in their coverage)

Using the standard scoring system. Did autopick cos its a sod to organise a live draft among so many timezones.

JJ Watt, Jason Pierre-Paul and Demarcus Ware are Defensive end, they should compare players of his size as:

Jim Hamilton 2.02 m and 124 kg

Eben Etzebeth 2.02 m and 123 kg

Kane Douglas 2.02 m and 123 kg

Brodie Retallick 2.04 m and 121 kg

Ali Williams 2.02 m and 120 kg

I say that players like Julian Savea or Israel Folau could make american football plays simple as: Run Straight and Run Wide. In those plays don't have to be a good receiver because the quarterback puts the ball in the hand of the runner. It's not that hard to do, and the strength and speed they have those players I named, they could do it without problem. Or you think that american footballers are stronger than rugby players?

regards

They're different sports, despite what some narrow minded people think, and cant be compared. To compare a pass rushing DL to a Second Row is like saying that a Ford Mondeo can enter Nascar just because its a similar size to the cars there.

Still 7 spots left in the NFL fantasy league, see post #435

I would offer to join but I'm not sure how much you guys would want someone who the majority of their knowledge of NFL comes from Madden (where I did win 3 superbowls in a row with the Jaguars, breaking the season passing yards and passing T.D.'s :D) and wouldn't be able to pay too much attnetion throughout the season..

Its ok, at this point I'd be happy to fill up the space. The draft is automatic so you wouldnt need to pick your team just occasionally check it. I'll post score updates after each week

I hardly have time to watch all my sports and fav. teams. Already joined a Fantasy league for the British Premier League, an NFL fantasy league with colleagues and a fantasy NHL league.

Coolio, we have 5 left now

Just a side note. A completely full league is a nightmare due to the depth of rosters. Lots of people lose interest due to 1 or 2 injuries completely knocking them out of the running. (With a really deep league, you only get 2 or 3 top players, and maybe 1 or 2 lucky rookie pickups)
May be an idea to just take in 1 more to even the numbers and allow the draft.

It;s all good - I['m sure most us non-Americans had to have help from Madden with our NFL knowledge. :D

One tip - try not to end up with Aaron Hernandez (arrested) and Mark Sanchez (****ty/crappy :p). ;)

Or anyone from the Browns at all.

Josh Cribbs is usually a good pick up if there's points for Return Yds.
Won a few games for me almost single handedly a few years back.

Oh, and for those who know very little about NFL. If it's a choice between Aaron Rodger and Tim Tebow, then if I'm behind you in the draft, pick Tebow :p

Never had much luck on special teams, apart from Cobbs dayboo, where he ran that kick back for 108(?)yards. Shame that was against us

Yeah, that was a crazy game. I'd just picked him up from waivers, but didn't start him :(

The centre(think it was the centre) that caught him, readjusted him and pointed him in the right direction was brilliant.

Was a doozy of a game, worth staying up for and getting 3 hours sleep before work the next day

I love Drew Breese looking at the playbook afterwards thinking 'why don't we have that play?'

I say it's largely due to rugby's relative infancy in professionalism coupled with MASSIVE discrepancy in pay packets (also, having fragmented club leagues and a reliance on even more fragmented national leagues and competition timeframes) "the best of the best" aren't able to play each other more frequently.

But that is another thread. ;)

And the Super Rugby???...

Regards

Still spaces for the fantasy league, ideally 1 or 3 spaces to make it a good league. Draft is Sept 1st.

Goodness, I am really disappointed 49's are leaving Candlestick. So weird. Hope the new one gonna have same atmosphere.
