Only 9 hous till kick off.......................
Anyways, this will be a big match for a number of AB's players. Muliana will want to show he's still the best fullback in the country (assuming Jane is playing on the wing - I consider Jane both the best fullback and wing in the country). Dagg had a great debut, while Toeava (injured) and Jane are also quality fullbacks - the pressure will be on Muliana to perform. Guildford is obviously under pressure to retain a place in the tri-nations squad - Rococoko has played well during his two starts, while Gear has been outstanding for the Maori.
It will be interesting to see how Kahui goes at centre, he was outstanding last week after struggling during the super 14. Stanley has been solid in his two starts but would need to have a spectacular game this week to retain his spot in the trinations squad, with Nonu likely back from injury, and MacAlister likely coming in from the Maori squad.
Tialata will want to have a strong game - I think Owen Franks has surpassed Tialata at tight-head prop in the selectors eyes, but if he has a strong game he may be included on the bench ahead of Ben Franks during the tri-nations. Woodcock will want to show that last weeks performance wasn't an aberration, and that he is back to his best - another strong game here will secure him the starting loosehead prop position for the tri-nations over Ben Franks, who really hasn't been that impressive in his two starts.
