F1 Racing

I think it's impossible to criticise what guys say in their cars.* The stress of it is unfathomable and they've all said stupid **** and been short with their team.

Max to take out both the Ferraris T1 Singapore style and Checo to breeze home.

Must say I love how these cars look on track, look far smoother and agile than last year's cars.

*I've done it but it's not fair!

My opinion of Max is shaped by his quotes to the press. He would be better served just shutting up than letting the world know he's a dick.

In the heat of the moment it's so stupid that that they broadcast the messages of the top guys. People really think Lewis was the only one who complained to his team about everything in the past cause he was the only one who would get his messages broadcast. Now that Max screams at people for his tires having a drop of sweat on them they realize that Lewis was pretty typical for a driver.

Won't get to watch this live so will be avoiding here. Have recorded the race and the show after because I can see it running long. Just hope none of the top 4 crash each other out, fairly content with Ferrari v RB with preference to Ferrari.

Ferrari predicting the safety car and getting RB to pit, absolute genius.

If they know Sainz was ahead before the SC line, why have they not swapped positions back?

Leclerc really knows how to deal with Verstappens aggressive posturing under the SC.

Yeah seams like a simple strategy once you know what he's doing force him out wide and completely compromise them as they can't overtake.

Honestly dunno what Max is getting its never led to him gaining a position and one day he'll screw up an actually overtake someone.

Feel sorry for Perez utterly screw by that crash.

Hamilton having a relative belter after yesterday.

don't blame checo for going for it, but someone should have stepped in to put cars in proper place

not surprised by Hamilton, has incredible race pace but he needs to pit soon

Not going to do it this season after Masi nonsense last season. Either the teams sort it out themselves or you get a penalty this year.

Hamilton screwed by this but could be very quick.

I hate one stoppers.

Stroll is the wrong there Albin was alongside and no room was given.

Couldn't do anything about the straight line speed advantage. Leclerc looking strong though and so far Verstappen has relied on safety cars to close the gap.

I thought Leclerc could have taken the win were it not for that yellow flag on the second last lap blocking his use of DRS on the pit straight. But good fair racing so no complaints, felt the most for Alonso. Happy with the Alpine progress, glad they are dominating Mclaren and showing Riciardo he made a big mistake leaving them.

What a race, strong drove and good problem solving from Verstappen, quickest driver out there but Leclerc drove very intelligently and probably could have stole a win but for Albon.

Fair dues to the FIA too, got everything right today and these new regs are unreal.

Checo and Alonso very unlucky, don't think Checo had the pace to win but he was robbed of a podium.

Albon's getting three place penalty for his collision with Stroll. Odd decision to me since they both seemed to be at fault

Thought it was a bit of a reckless lunge by Albon. Something that people would lose their **** if Max did but a penalty is harsh. Had he finished the race a retrospective and immaterial 5/10s penalty would have been my preference, surely they should have some warning system in place to say he deserved as much.

Hopefully they stay consistent to that now, no need to get too aggressive with these cars.

I couldn't see Albon getting away with no punishment, he also has a history of chucking his car into situations that cause collisions. Stroll was not blameless as he chose to completely slam the door on him knowing full well he was there. On balance though Stroll had more right to turn in than Albon did to make that lunge.
