Oceania is one of rugby union's hotbed. Are there any particular reasons why the game is more popular in some islands than others?
The game is quite popular in Fiji, Samoa, and Tonga. It does not seem to be as popular in Solomon Islands, New Caledonia, and Vanuatu.
I am aware that PNG favours RL while Nauru Aussie Rules.
