Prefer our route to Wales' or NI and I still wouldn't bet on it at all. Czech are a bit of a basket case and we owe the Danes but yeah, going to need a third and fourth consecutive upset against regulars in finals tournaments.

Football continuing to show how to **** up a video review system and the referees authority.

Honestly, how does releasing this information help in anyway? Even if it was 5-0 in favour, but they voted 3-2, so even that suggests it wasn't certain. Whole system is ridiculous.

Anyone know if it's just the premier league releasing reviews or football as a whole?

I think there's merit to public reviews. Football refereeing at the top level is pretty cut throat from what I understand and mistakes aren't taken lightly at all. And it's reffed to a far higher standard than rugby.

Obviously its an easier sport to officiate and although they've got a lot better, they have taken to video reviews bizarrely slowly, but I reckon rugby has more to learn from soccer than vice versa in terms of refereeing.

Solksjear apparently getting the UTD job on an interim basis.

Liam Rosenoir is a wild pick for Chelsea. That won’t end well

Slot rumoured to be sacked end of the week as well. The crazy world of football.

Getting rid of Amorim is confirmation to me that UTD will never be successful again. He was slowly turning things around despite getting cut off at the knees again and again, basically sacked for telling the board where they're going wrong imo.

The PL is corporate sport by numbers at it's worst though.

Yeah, not even sacked coz of results. Sacked because he spoke out against the hierarchy (and not even anything that bad from what I can see)

Same for Moresca as well it seems. Though he didn’t seem to say anything publicly but it appears they weren’t getting on behind the scenes.

Same for Nuno at Forrest when he spoke out against Marinakis.

I agree, even though they always seemed like one bad result away from a disaster UTD were looking alright and you’d think they had a great chance at finishing 5th which is CL qualification now so results were on track. Just goes to show, like in most jobs in life, it’s more about how well you toe the company line than results (though results are clearly important)

On the flip side, Thomas Frank who doesn’t look cut out for the Spurs job is doing a great job at keeping his mouth shut and he’s still in a job and unlikely to lose it before the end of the season even though Spurs are awful.
