I remember when John Barnes was appointed Celtic manager with Kenny Dalglish as DoF. Celtic made a blistering start but then the wheels came off fairly rapidly. That infamous loss to Caley Thistle in the cup led to the one of the greatest back page headlines in sporting history.

Joking aside, I thought the red was a tad harsh. I can see why it’s given but he only nicked him and he wasn’t trying to hurt him. He basically got sent off for ripping his sock. You probably still would’ve lost, though.

Ha, yeah in all fairness I didn't think we would win. Definitely think we are in a fight still and just hope we have enough

Losing at home to Spurs without scoring isn't going to give the team much goodwill.

Yeah, if you’re a West Ham fan, 4 games into a new season and you’ve played Chelsea and Spurs at home and conceded 8 and scored 0 then you’re going to be a tad annoyed. lol.

Think Bowen will just about keep you up.
 
I think it works out best for us in terms of seeding if North Macedonia win or draw.

[Completely unrelated] I'm not so sure about the ones in the South but those North Macedonians have always been sound lads, I wish them well.

They do bang on about Alexander the so called great though. If he was so great why did he die at 32? Exactly.

Was great to see ex Spurs boy Parrot doing his thing. I thought he had shades of Harry Kane about him when I first saw him when he was 16 or so. Good player.

You’ve got a kid called Mason Melia who spurs signed a while back. Think his contract starts with Spurs next year. Looks a top prospect.
