England v Wales

One Word comes to mind...

CHOKE!!! [/b]

Exactly....hats off to Wales but England just went to pieces....and genuinely you can't see what it was Wales did to force the change....it was basically self inflicted.

It's quite terrible how the english lost all their confidence in a few minutes. The game was in their hands. And then came Balshaw...
Believe it or not, I'm quite ******, as i was picturing a great England-France revenge which would decide which of us would win the gran slam.
I guess we'll see that with the Irish now

1st half - less like it
2nd half - MORE LIKE IT!

the first half (apart from the Flood try) was a total yawn-fest.
the second half was a edge of the seat stuff, Jenkins onces again showing that he has the ability to keep momentum going by making key passes.
Well done Wales.

I suppose that now we're favourites for winning the whole tournament ? Bad news, each time we're favourites, we lose.

Congrats to the Welsh. More an english loss than a welsh victory for me, but this is still amazing. :)

Jake White's comment was true: "Wales didn't win the game, England lost it." Although, I couldn 't care less, we won, and that's what counts.

BRAVO LES GALLOIS !!!!!!

Maybe England shoud have scored more in the first half, but I'm ashamed of the English faults not penalized !
What are this players (9 and others) that have authority to play by hand, shoot in the ball when it is in the scrum, moreover coming from the sides
Frenchies would have been sent on the sin bin for less !!!

absolute joke. new men, same old story for England. so many missed opportunities, and Wales deserved their win cuz England just fell to pieces. No game plan, and a very scrappy game that has left me fuming

I can't believe what just happened?
WE WON!!!!
I did think Gatland & Edwards was gonna bring success, but I wasn't expecting immediate success.

Fantastic game, well done Wales. Hopefully Scotland can replicate this tommorow (minus the first half performance of course ;)).

What should Gatland do next week? Should he stick with this team, or try some different players to give them a chance? Realistically, I can't see Wales losing to Scotland in Cardiff (but we haven't seen Scotland play yet), so perhaps Shanklin, Roberts and Peel (among others) may get a start. Hook was class in this game, so I can't see him losing the shirt in the future.

I'd be surprised if he sticks with the same starting lineup, take nothing away from the win but it did come with 2 opportunistic tries which certainly papers over a large chunk of the performance.

Was it Sir. Speedy who said everyone who posted in this thread could give him -5 reputation points if wales won?

No, honestly! I said everyone who posted 'before' my post, could do so.
Go ahead then... :(.

No, but I bet some people would be happy to carry out my bet!
Tough deal though, A Welsh away win at Twickenham for the first time in 20 years and I lose about 50+ rep points. Yes, I got a raw deal...
xD
