Aviva Premiership - Round 13

I was reading a lot of posts about Burgess' performance in social networking, was he so good? I couldn't see the game

Sounds like we finally put in a full 80 today.
I know Saints were depleted, especially in the pack, but we've blown bigger leads in the past.

He looked significantly more comfortable than he has done previously - still a long way to go, however.

Just seen the results, I think pretty much every result was perfect for Bath today! Cheers for a big favour, Sale. TRF_Olly, please have a pint on me tonight. I can't realistically pay you for it, but drink it in the knowledge that I would if I could. Catching up with the Quins-Leicester game, it's a cracker so far. Great performances from several possible England players which is nice, including ... Easter? Is he maybe in line for a cheeky 6N recall if Morgan's injury proves serious? He's been really good every game I've seen this year, maybe he's in with a sniff. Leicester look a different team in the backs, Williams is getting the line moving and Adam Thompstone made a couple of nice breaks. Best back play was between Crane and Kitchener though ...

Obviously Burgess got his first try - imagine how the papers are going to go off tomorrow ...

What was the game like, I didn't get to see it? Sounds like we played pretty well, back on track after last week?

Good to see Bath playing good rugby.

But this has beans pretty typical wasps away performance. Very frequent errors and absolutely no plan B.
Ashely not looking match fit - most rugby played this season of any player ands needed the rest. Shame Jones went off so early.
Hughes losing his handling a bit.
Goode a turnstile in defence.
Bassett sold us short for the Roko try.

Lozowski's try was class though (is he rob Lozowski's son?)

***EDIT: just seen he is

His rate of improvement is the scary bit. It's his 6th game at Seniors and he's not standing out, but he looks ok at the very worst.

At his best he's a massive tackler, knocked Hughes down flat in full stride, decent link up man with good hands a great offload and he can fend everyone. The more games he gets the better his timing will be. He could be a world class player and fully deserving of it.

The only thing I can't peg is how long it will take for him to get there. At this current rate, very soon.. but it never usually goes that way.

10 defenders beaten, 2 clean breaks and 59m from 12 carries. 10 tackles.

Definitely a step forward.

Yyyyyyyyeeeeeeeeeeesssssssssss Geraghty you beauty las minute drop goal and bonus point happy days. Tom guest finally showing something along with griffin

It's been a funny week for results this week (apart from London Welsh losing as usual and the glorious Bath)

Rumours on social media that JP Doyle was 'pinned' to the wall by a group of Sarries players in the tunnel post/game on Friday.

Stress that these at rumours, but if there is substance to them...ugh

It's on shedweb.

The next few days are going to be very interesting because it's a very dangerous accusation.

If substantiated I'd like to know who did it.

It isn't Farrell, he wasn't there because he had an injury so that can take the hate out of the issue for some dubious characters. God knows in that side who'd do it.

Overpaid f**kwits!!

Good wins for Sale, Quins, Irish and Gloucs and two great tries in their match against Saracens!
