Aviva Premiership 15/16 - Round 22

Ashton might have got a hat trick, but so did Nili Latu.

Oh dear. How could the almighty, invincible Leicester lose against the terrible + lowly Bath ?

Almighty and invincible are not adjectives one associates with Leicester, dear boy.

But terrible and lowly seem suitable for Bath.

Might be true, but that was pointed at some very arrogant and snooty users here.
Do you speak sarcasm + irony ? ;)

Which users would they be?
I can't see anyone in here saying Tigers would/should beat bath
In fact the only arrogance seems to be in your post, and considering Bath finished.....9th? It's pretty misplaced

I don't know looking at the two teams Bath would have def been favorites for this game.

I am talking of those writing how much they despise Bath in 2/3 of their posts ;)
But I do not want to push this, but just enjoy a rare victory this season.
I will be at Twickenham for the final and really am looking foward to that, regardless of who is going to play it.

Leicester have always been the butt of unwelcome criticism, as have Saracens too in recent seasons.
As far as Bath are concerned, I've not noticed any really acerbic comments, apart from the Burgess affair, which to be truthful, was not handled well and rightly attracted unfavourable comments.

I dunno ..... Maybe cos we rested all our players ? Did you not see the team sheets or is this the first time this season you have ventured out of your nuclear bunker ?

GETTING READY FOR FRIDAYS FINAL............Can anyone give me the resons for Harlequins massive home defeat, the team looked to be at reasonable full strenght if not totally yet to have 62 pts scored against them at home seems very puzzling, and not qualifying for the CCup next season, surely they are not putting all their bets on beating us in Lyon to qualify next season for the ECC. All seems very strange to me, we lost at La Rochelle because we sent a second string to avoid injuries, there are 1or2 players from that team who will be in the final on Friday no more.

They got found out by a rampant opposition!!

Quins had no answer to being bullied at the mauls, taken apart at the line out and very poor in defence - as they have been all season!

Apparently they have leaked the most points outside the bottom three teams and made up for it partially by attacking. This time, their attack was virtually nullified or spilt (Freudian slip - spoilt) by errors!

With your big forwards crashing into them, mauling from the line out, and holding the defensive lines, there is no reason you cannot put 60 points on them too!!

Quins have totally not been the same team since O'Shea announced he's leaving. They might pull it together to give him a proper send-off though.
